  • Publication number: 20080160625
Abstract: A process is described for the preparation of modified electrodes useful for the measurement of analytes in biological fluids, comprising the deposition of Prussian blue on screen printed electrodes, and the modified electrodes prepared via said process; the enzymatic electrodes and the biosensors comprising said modified electrodes and the method for the determination of analytes in biological fluids which uses said modified electrodes are also described.

  • Publication number: 20080009269
Abstract: The present invention includes a method and system for the management and routing of telecommunications information on data and telephone lines. In one exemplary embodiment in accordance with the present invention, a flexible system whereby business information is correlated to a user's telephone number is provided. In another exemplary embodiment, the present invention provides an on-line answering service in which the identification information of the called party can be maintained during call forwarding and/or diversion. In another exemplary embodiment, the identification information of the user called can be detected by the answering system. In addition, in another exemplary embodiment, the present invention provides answering services access to information about the called party as well as the calling party in order to facilitate the answering services' responses on behalf of their users.

  • Patent number: 5201915
Abstract: A process for fading dyed textile products in a non-uniform way includes: coating the surface of the textile product to be discolored with a layer of a product resistant to the discoloring or bleaching agent; breaking-up such a layer, preferably in a random way; and treating the resulting textile product with a solution of a bleaching and/or discoloring agent. The textile product so obtained shows discontinuous, non-uniformly arranged, rectilinear, shaded faded regions with a starlike configuration.

  • Patent number: 5064443
Abstract: A process for dyeing a textile in a non-uniform fashion is described which involves disposing rigid, permeable and porous granules impregnated with a solution or dispersion of one or more dyestuffs together with a textile product in a chamber and randomly contacting the textile with the granules. After removing the granules, the textile may be heated or steamed to fix the dyestuff, and washed to remove excess dyestuff.

  • Patent number: 4841751
Abstract: The apparatus of the invention allows for efficient and safe decolorizing or dyeing of cloth articles using bleach or dye-impregnated stones or granules. The apparatus includes a cylindrical drum with longitudinal baffles along its inner surface. Liner sheets are attached to adjacent baffles, thereby lining the entire drum. The sheets flex inwardly due to gravity as the drum is rotated, thereby dislodging any residual materials layered thereon. The apparatus also provides for separation of treated articles from stones and re-impregnation of the stones with a bleaching agent or a dyestuff solution or dispersion.

  • Patent number: 4740213
Abstract: In the method disclosed, cloth to be faded is brought into dry contact with pumice granules that are impregnated with a chemical bleaching agent such as a hypochlorite; the action takes place in a conventional process machine, the drum of which is rotated for a preset duration.
