  • Publication number: 20240146377
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for enabling downlink throttling, such as for thermal mitigation. For example, a user equipment (UE) may transmit channel state feedback (CSF) with a report of a first rank that is less than a second rank associated with a channel condition and may communicate with a base station using a configuration associated with the first rank and without a set of sounding reference signals (SRSs). Alternatively, the UE may transmit one or more SRSs using a configuration associated with the first rank. In this way, by refraining from transmission of the SRSs or by adjusting the configuration the SRSs, the UE causes the base station to support downlink throttling.

  • Patent number: 11930482
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) user equipment (UE) may communicate, using a first SIM, on a plurality of component carriers. The multi-SIM UE may select a first subset of component carriers from the plurality of component carriers based at least in part on a component carrier prioritization. The multi-SIM UE may identify an amount of memory available to a second SIM. The multi-SIM UE may tune away, based at least in part on the amount of memory available to the second SIM, from a second subset of component carriers The first subset of component carriers may be different from the second subset of component carriers. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Patent number: 11741599
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of treating a subject having arterial stenosis. The method comprises: (a) providing a plurality of image frames of an artery of the subject taken in sequence; (b) in a plurality of cross-sections of the artery, determining a maximum diameter and a minimum diameter of each of the plurality of cross-sections of the artery among the plurality of image frames of the step (a); (c) calculating an average vasodilation ratio of the artery base on the maximum diameter and the minimum diameter determined in the step (b); and (d) treating the subject based on the average vasodilation ratio calculated in the step (c), by implanting a stent to the subject when the average vasodilation ratio is equal to or greater than 0.2; or administering to the subject an effective amount of a vasodilator when the average vasodilation ratio is less than 0.2.

  • Patent number: 11689521
Abstract: Systems and methods for enhanced SSO, which can avoid faults in known protocols and standards for access delegation. For example, the enhanced SSO can use a shared security mechanism, such as a keychain or keystore, for sharing vendor identity over mobile applications without some of the pitfalls of using cookies. And, a connector code can bind the mobile applications to each other so that only the enhanced SSO is required for a user to log in to the mobile applications and remain logged in to the applications on one or more mobile devices.

  • Publication number: 20220294794
Abstract: The disclosed systems and methods provide a novel framework that leverages collected logged-in daily active users (LIDAU) data to drive network traffic to network resources, as well as engage these users to continue or remain engaged with the resources through personalization and customization according to their behaviors and patterns. LIDAU data, which is based on a raw data feed of information from network resources and an identified dataset determined from the raw data feed, is used as a basis to increase LIDAU for a specific user or a set of other users. The determined understanding of LIDAU, and its impact on users as well as the network resources the users are interacting with, enables the framework to personalize the resources that are anticipated as being visited by the users in advance of the users visiting them.

  • Patent number: 11238365
Abstract: The present teaching relates to a method and system for validating labels of training data. A first group of data records associated with the training data are received, wherein each of the first group of data records includes a vector having at least one feature and a first label. For each of the first group of data records, a second label is determined based on the at least one feature in accordance with a first model. Thereafter, a loss based on the first label associated with the data record and the second label is obtained, and the data record having an incorrect first label is classified when the loss meets a pre-determined criterion. Upon classifying the data records, a sub-group of the first group of data records is generated, wherein each of the data records included in the sub-group has the incorrect first label.

  • Patent number: 10607263
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in an authentication system supported by or configured with personal computing devices, servers and/or platforms. The systems interact to identify and retrieve data across platforms, which data can be used to improve the quality of data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. The disclosed systems and methods provide advanced, computerized security features that dynamically, in real-time, determine parameters that must be entered in order for a user to login to a system or platform, as well as the quantity and order such parameters must be entered. The disclosed systems and methods involve computerized mechanisms for authenticating a user or device for which access to a web-based resource is desired. Requested credentials in accordance with the dynamically determined manner in which such credentials are automatically determined and requested must be appropriately entered.

  • Patent number: 8442527
Abstract: An identification system comprises a communication interface. The communication interface is configured to receive from a mobile device a registration request to initiate an access session between the mobile device and a communication network, wherein the registration request comprises a device identifier that identifies the mobile device. In response to the registration request, the communication interface is configured to transfer a packet address to the mobile device, wherein the mobile device transfers a service request for a service on the communication network during the access session, wherein the service request includes the packet address. The communication interface is configured to receive an identification request transferred from an authentication system in response to the service request, wherein the identification request indicates the packet address.
