  • Patent number: 5884615
Abstract: A dual mode ammunition loading air or gas-powered gun. The gun is conceived for shooting manually loaded small bullets shot by shot, or for alternatively acting as a repeating weapon for spherical ammunition (2) fed from a loader (4), dispensed one by one into a pocket (9) of an ammunition shifting body (8) mounted in a sliding arrangement, perpendicular to the barrel (3), so as to shift the ammunition up to a position in coalignment with the barrel (3) and with an air/gas delivery hole (17), of a compression chamber. The trigger (18) of the gun, is pin-jointed with a drawing member (19) spring-loaded at one (19a) of its ends and whose other end (19b) is connected to the striking hammer (21) for its cocking and ulterior release. The shifting body (8) is linked with the trigger through an assoicated lever (23) whose first end (23a) is rotatably pin-jointed with said trigger (18) and whose other end (23b) is hinged connected with said shifting body (8).

  • Patent number: 5655509
Abstract: Improvements in air guns of the rifle or pistol type. The air gun comprises a compression chamber-fork one-piece assembly (10), to be fastened to a buttstock of a gun, made of plastic material with a reinforcing web portion (14) connecting lower portions of both fork limbs (15) and with a plurality of anchoring appendages (34) projecting from the lower outer wall of the chamber to fit into matching slots of the buttstock. A one-piece body (16) made of plastic material integrates a stopper (25), spring guide (21), embellisher (33) and a support comprised of two parallel walls (17, 18) for a ratchet, trigger and intermediary elements of the gun.

  • Patent number: 5622160
Abstract: Improvements in gas-powered guns of the revolver type. The gun includes a barrel (10), a revolving projectile loader (11) by way of a revolver drum tiltable to one side into a loading position, a rearsight holder (14) bearing a sight (15) which is adjustable positioned by a screw (16), a striking hammer (17) rotationally actuated by a trigger (18) and a grip frame (19) housing a compressed-gas cartridge (20) whose nozzle leans against a seal (21). According to the improvements, a casing (24) moulded on the barrel (10) has an upper expansion (24a) which positionally secures a portion of the rear sight holder (14). The revolving projectile loader (11) is constituted by two pieces obtained by moulding, a first piece (29) comprising a series of tubular elements (30) provided to accommodate the projectiles and to transfer them to the barrel (10), and a second piece (32) constituting a casing and receiving in its inside the former one in a plug-in engagement.

  • Patent number: 5575270
Abstract: Improvements in hinged barrel air guns are disclosed where the air gun has a barrel 28 acting as a lever arm to compress a spring 4 attached to an axially movable piston 1 that is tightly inserted in a compression chamber 2 and has thrusting element 5 associated with the piston for compressing said spring and a safety catch 6 which locks the piston in a spring compressed position suitable for shooting. The improvements consist of producing the piston 1 in a tubular shape molded in plastic material, including a contoured end wall 8 and 11, a plate 9 resistant to wear providing a link between the piston, the thrusting element 5 and the safety catch 6, and a dense inertial element 10 integral with the tubular piston. A casing 27 completely covers the barrel body 28 except for its front and rear ends.

  • Patent number: 5205271
Abstract: An air rifle of the hinged barrel type has an injection molded single piece fork member (7) connected for articulation with the barrel (1), the fork member having a cylinder portion (8) extending therefrom that is secured in the compression chamber (3) integral with the buttstock. The barrel casing has a widened portion (4) located at the rear end of the barrel and includes an articulation pin (5) pivotally connected with the fork member (7), a resilient catch (6) within a recess (14) and a locking point (12) of the compressed air piston (27) driving lever (13).
