  • Publication number: 20240119552
Abstract: The present disclosure is enclosed in the area of validation of vehicles in road tolls, which may also be designated as tolling systems. The prior art systems require the installation of a device—a camera and/or a wireless communication device—for each lane of a toll, in order to determine that a vehicle has crossed such lane of the toll. The present solution allows that, only with two fixed wireless devices which receive wireless beacons from a mobile device, the lane which the vehicle crosses is still determinable. This also enables that each of the fixed wireless devices may be placed in locations of the toll which are accessible without closing the lane, and thereby does not require that the circulation of vehicles has to closed, whichever is the lane. The present solution thereby promotes retrofit in existing tolls with multiple lanes.

  • Publication number: 20230334506
Abstract: Systems and methods for customizing business applications based upon user intent scores is described. A machine learning model trained to specifically predict when a user is likely to engage in a specific activity while interacting with the business application may be trained using data regarding prior interactions between a business application and a plurality of users. The machine learning model may thereafter provide a probability score for a particular user, the probability score indicating the likelihood that the user will engage in the specific activity for which the model has been trained to predict. The probability may be combined with a business value factor to produce a user intent score indicating the relative value of the user engaging in the specific activity.

  • Patent number: 11715335
Abstract: The present disclosure is enclosed in the area of validation of vehicles in road tolls, which may also be designated as tolling systems. The present disclosure includes an automated computational method for the determination of the validity of the passage of a vehicle in a toll which includes two detection modes of a vehicle, through optical means and a mobile device receiving a wireless beacon with unique information associated with the toll and subsequently in connection with a remote backend server. The wireless beacon is a simple type of message which does not require that the mobile device and a fixed wireless device establish a connection. Such feature is one particularly relevant in the applications of the present disclosure, as it highly improves the efficacy of the receipt of the unique information associated with the toll by the mobile device. The present disclosure further includes a corresponding system.

  • Patent number: 11674291
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of fixing a wear element (2) on the front edge of a support (1) using fixing means, where the wear element (2) comprises two arms (3) with first through openings (4) and the support (1) has a second through opening (5) sandwiched between the first through openings (4). The fixing means comprise a C-shaped first body (6), a wedge (14), ratchet means (24) between both and a second body (8), which are housed in the openings in an assembled position. The method consists of positioning the first body (6) and the second body (8) in the openings, inserting the wedge (14) between both, positioning a screw (21) between the wedge (14) and the second body (8) and screwing it in such a way that the wedge (14) moves with respect to the second body (8) and the first body (6) until the wedge (14) reaches its assembled position, and at least partially unscrewing the screw (21) and removing the screw (21) from the fixing means.

  • Patent number: 11614941
Abstract: An apparatus for hardware acceleration for use in operating a computational network is configured for determining that a loop structure including one or more loops is to be executed by a first processor. Each of the one or more loops includes a set of operations. The loop structure may be configured as a nested loop, a cascaded or a combination of the two. A second processor may be configured to decouple overhead operations of the loop structure from compute operations of the loop structure. The apparatus accelerates processing of the loop structure by simultaneously processing the overhead operations using the second processor separately from processing the compute operations based on the configuration to operate the computational network.

  • Publication number: 20230083443
Abstract: An anomaly score is computed for current and past physical access events using machine learning models. A transformation of the security events history into a time series of event counts, or augmenting the events history with the delay/lag information is used as an input to machine learning models. Machine learning models are used to estimate (compute) probability density functions for the currently observed parameters of security events. Cumulative probability density functions are computed from the probability density functions to be used to compute the anomaly score for the security events. The described method utilizes a collection of machine learning models to improve efficiency, accuracy and computation speed, by training the models on only a small subset of the accumulated history of security events to achieve higher performance of anomaly detection by narrow specialization of the models. When the anomaly score is beyond a threshold, injecting an anomaly alert network packet.
