Patent number: 9310174Abstract: A non-electric detonator connected to similar detonators with capsule 2 with having charge 8 and delay train 9. A tube 3 for transmitting a shock wave having an internal surface with a predetermined amount of a propagating explosive has one end mounted within capsule 2 adjacent to delay train 9. A seal 12 formed by collapsing a portion of tube 3 at a distance from its end prevents a shock wave accidentally created at capsule 2 from propagating to the rest of tube 3. Yet, the propagation of the wave is not prevented when it comes from the other end of tube 3. The distance from end 13a where seal 12 is formed needs to be selected for a predetermined explosive amount not sufficient to propagate the wave from capsule 2 but enough to propagate it when the wave comes from the other end.Type: GrantFiled: July 25, 2012Date of Patent: April 12, 2016Inventors: Pio Francisco Perez Cordova, Jose William Palomino Cahuana

Publication number: 20140223786Abstract: The invention relates to a retaining device, a retaining system between a female part and a male part, and a female part and male part to assure the retention between a wear element or tooth and an adaptor element or tooth bar used in excavators and the like. The female part, which can be a wear element or tooth, or an adaptor element or tooth bar, comprises, auto-fixed thereto, a retaining device which participates in the coupling with a pin of the female part with a male part, and prevents the pin from coming out of its blocking position, maintaining the fixing between the two parts, i.e., male part and female part. The coupling between both parts is detachable, allows removing the pin from the coupling and replacing the female part or male part together with the retaining device.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 5, 2011Publication date: August 14, 2014Applicant: METALOGENIA, S.A.Inventors: Javier Rol Corredor, Javier Jimenez Garcia, Francisco Perez Soria, Jorge Triginer Boixeda, Ester Alonso Frigola

Publication number: 20140075793Abstract: Detachable fastening system between a male piece (2) and a female piece (1), pin (3) and female piece (1), specifically for use in machines for moving earth and stones. It is formed by a tooth (2) with a transverse aperture, a tooth holder (2) with another transverse aperture, a pin with an intermediate nipple, and an elastic tensor (4) located in a complementary cavity of the tooth holder (2). The penetration and subsequent rotation of the pin (3) immobilizes it axially, as it is held in said angular position by the action of the tensor (4). In addition, the pin (3) has at one end a projection that interacts with a groove ramped helicoidally and fitted in the aperture of the tooth in order to absorb the axial forces, by unloading the tensor (4) thereof, and also in order to limit the angular distance traveled by the pin between the blocking and unblocking positions, and in order to facilitate possible extraction thereof.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 12, 2013Publication date: March 20, 2014Applicant: METALOGENIA, S.A.Inventors: Jose LOPEZ ALMENDROS, Francisco PEREZ SORIA, Angel MARTINEZ

Patent number: 8261663Abstract: An electrical delay detonator for use in blasting initiation systems energized by a non-electric impulse signal transmitted through a non-electrical conduit, such as a shock tube, with one end inserted inside a detonator housing having redundant sensors for detecting the presence of a non-electric impulse signal and a computerized control circuit for actuating the firing circuit. An elevated voltage is generated, stored in a capacitor assembly, and discharged when fired to an electrically operable igniter. The igniter, when activated, detonates an explosive mass. A battery is also contained within the detonator housing for powering the control circuit and one sensor, in low consumption mode, for several days. Upon detecting the presence of a signal the rest of the circuits are powered up. Periodic time windows generated by the control assembly provide corresponding enabled time periods for the sensors to become operational.Type: GrantFiled: December 23, 2010Date of Patent: September 11, 2012Inventors: Pio Francisco Perez Cordova, Juan Carlos Trejo Maguina

Patent number: 8187397Abstract: An explosive emulsion to be used in conjunction with a gas-producing agent, such as sodium nitrite, to form an explosive emulsion with a density between 0.50 g/cm3 and 0.90 g/cm3. The present invention also includes the method for producing the explosive emulsion. The explosive emulsion is stable for at least 96 hours with nitrogen bubbles, having a predetermined dimension range, homogenously distributed. To maintain this low-density explosive emulsion stable, between 84% and 95% by weight of an oxidizing solution is combined with 5% to 16% by weight of a fuel solution. The fuel solution includes solid cacao fat as a stabilizing agent and stearic acid to prevent the combination of the nitrogen bubbles. The method for producing the oxidizing solution includes combining ammonium nitrate, sodium nitrate, thiourea, urea, and water at a temperature between 80 and 90 degrees centigrade. In another step of the method, a fuel solution is produced by combining an emulsifier, oil, diesel No.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 2010Date of Patent: May 29, 2012Assignee: Industrias Minco, S.A.C.Inventors: Pio Francisco Perez Cordova, Luis Alfredo Cardenas Lopez

Publication number: 20110156397Abstract: Underwater electrical energy generator with a three-blade propeller for the harnessing of energy from the water in the direction of its axis, in both directions. The propeller drives an alternating current generator located in a central dome from which there extend three arms joined to floats which close the Y-shaped structure by means of tie beams. The assembly has neutral floatability and is set into position by means of an anchoring system with a set of buoys joined to the bottom by one or more cables. An end of the generator is joined to an anchoring line by means of a horizontal cable in one of the main directions of the current. From the other end another two horizontal cables, open at an angle with respect to the direction of the current, are joined to another two anchoring lines. The assembly can be ballasted to go from an operating vertical underwater position to a horizontal floating position to facilitate maintenance tasks.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 27, 2010Publication date: June 30, 2011Applicants: UNIVERSIDAD POLITÉCNICA DE MADRID, FUNDACION CENTRO TECHNOLOGICO SOERMARInventors: Amable LOPEZ PIÑEIRO, Luis Ramón Nuñez Rivas, José Andrés Somolinos Sanchez, Luis Perez Rojas, Ignacio Diez Ulzurrun Romeo, Francisco Perez Arribas, Eva Maria Novoa Rojas, Alfonso Manuel Carneros Lozano, Francisco Gerardo Del Castillo De Comas
