  • Publication number: 20060220445
Abstract: A tank according to the invention comprises a casing, a filling port (5) extending, on the outside of said tank, into a filling neck (7), which is provided with a screw thread having a pitch (p) and which cooperates with a cap (9). The inner surface of the cap cooperating with the screw thread, at least one outlet port for the hydraulic-fluid flow towards a hydraulic circuit. The inner space (3) of the tank is connected with ambient air through two channels (45), that extend from a first lengthwise end (47) of the filling neck (7) to a second lengthwise end (49) of the filling neck (7) and through a helical passage (41) between the filling neck (7) and the cap (9) to connect the inside of the tank with the ambient air to avoid the development of negative pressure in the tank.

  • Publication number: 20060185361
Abstract: An arrangement (10) for the connection of a brake fluid supply reservoir (12) to a longitudinal brake master cylinder (14) of a motor vehicle, in which at least one lower supply pipe (16) connected to the reservoir is received in a complementary supply bore (18) of the master cylinder (14) and in which vertical immobilization structure (20) is interposed between the pipe (16) and the master cylinder (14). The arrangement is by an intermediate baseplate (22) that is connected to the reservoir (12) by at least one nozzle (24) including the supply pipe (16) and that is lowered vertically onto the master cylinder (14) and then immobilized on the master cylinder (14) by way of vertical immobilization structure (20) that directly snap-fastens to the master cylinder (14) to allow rapid attachment of the pipe (16) to the master cylinder (14).

  • Patent number: 7052051
Abstract: A quick-coupling device having a support (18) on which a female member (20) is mounted in a manner to move between a position of retaining a male member (14E) in a position fitted into the female member (20) to a position of releasing the male member (14E) from the female member (20). This device has a lever (24) articulated to the support (18) between a rest position, wherein the lever (24) is separated from the female member (20), to a position of collaboration that allows the female member (20) to be driven toward a position to allow the male member (14E) to be released. The lever (24) includes structure (26) for guiding the male member (14E) in such a way as to encourage guidance of the male member (14E) to mate with the female member (20) when the lever (24) is in the rest position.

  • Patent number: 6984000
Abstract: A tank intended for an electrohydraulic braking system comprises, according to the present invention, a first chamber (7) for the supply of a primary hydraulic circuit of a master cylinder with brake fluid, a second chamber (9) for the supply of a secondary hydraulic circuit of the master cylinder (not shown) with brake fluid, a third chamber (11) for the supply of a hydraulic pump with brake fluid, and a fourth chamber (13), a measuring one, which accommodates a detection device, indicating when the brake-fluid level inside the tank is too low. The tank has a flow path for the interconnection of the first chamber (7), the second chamber (9) and the third chamber (11) when the hydraulic-fluid level is higher than a safety level, and for the fluid-tight separation of said chambers when the hydraulic-fluid level is lower than the safety level.

  • Publication number: 20040057778
Abstract: A quick-coupling device comprises a support (18) on which the female member (20) is mounted such that it can move between a position of retaining the male member (14E) in a position fitted into the female member (20) and a position of releasing the male member (14E) from the female member (20). • Patent number: 6688331
Abstract: A support (1) through which first and second outlet pipes (7) from a first tank (9) is connected to a second tank (42). The support (1) has rear wall (17) separated from a front wall (37) by a spacer (39) to define rectangular cavities (33) therein. The rear wall (17) has a first and second sleeves (5) that extend therefrom and are correspondingly located in the outlet pipes (7). The front wall (37) has openings (35) therein that are aligned with openings (3) defined by the first and second sleeves (5). First and second claw rings (15) are correspondingly attached to the first and second sleeves (5) and first and second tubular pipes (41.1,41.2) are pushed through the claw rings (15) and into the first and second outlet pipes (7). Radial protrusions (13) on the claw rings (15) engage the tubular pipes (41.1,41.2) to define a sealed connection.
