  • Publication number: 20140325525
Abstract: A data processing system (1) is programmed with an interface (2) for capturing events which arise, and a process engine (3) for automatically monitoring captured events to identify completion of steps, each comprising a plurality of events linked by dependency relationships; and to identify completion of processes, each comprising a plurality of steps linked by dependency relationships. Software functions (5) execute in response to output of the process engine (3). The process engine (3) processes events to recognise a plurality of potential steps, but terminates other potential steps when completion of a step is determined. The process engine (3) processes steps to recognise a plurality of potential processes, but terminates other potential process when completion of a process is determined. The dependency relationships include Boolean AND operators and Boolean OR operators. There is a discrete start event for each step and a discrete start step for each process.

  • Patent number: 8549629
Abstract: Methods, programs, and systems for classifying and monitoring user-computer interactions include monitoring keystroke characteristics, mouse characteristics, and application frequency and garnering associated data. Metrics associated with the monitored data are then analyzed and used for a several business and security applications: Security-Impersonation, Security-Profiling, Business-Training, and Business-Application Development. The methods of the present disclosure enable greater insight into user-computer interactions.

  • Publication number: 20130062438
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for distributing liquids comprising a distribution chamber (12) having a liquid inlet (3) and a plurality of liquid outlets (7). Protrusions (19, 20) extend into the distribution chamber (12) between the liquid outlets (7) and thus prevent dead spaces in which sediments can settle.

  • Publication number: 20110073078
Abstract: The invention relates to a high-pressure fuel pump for a fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine, having a pump housing and with at least one pump element of a piston which is driven by a cam which interacts with a roller. The free ends of the roller are bounded by two side run-on surfaces which come into contact with mating surfaces during the operation of the high-pressure fuel pump. In order to provide a high-pressure fuel pump which can be produced cost-effectively and has a long service life, the side run-on surfaces are designed as circular ring disc surfaces and, in a central internal region, are released from contact with the mating surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20070126284
Abstract: A regenerative brake of the present invention presents a hydraulic device disposed in a front hub of a bicycle wheel. The device allows the bicycle to recapture part of the kinetic energy that would otherwise be lost when braking and make use of that power either by storing it for future use or feeding it back into a power system to be used. The hydraulic device may also be stored in a rear hub of the bicycle wheel.

  • Patent number: 6911087
Abstract: A fluidized bed apparatus for applying a coating liquid onto the surface of particles includes a vertically disposed cylindrical product container having a peripheral wall, at least one cylindrical partition defining a centrally located up bed region and a peripherally located down bed region. The product container further includes an upper end connected to an expansion chamber and a lower end including an orifice plate having a plurality of openings for passage of fluidized air or gas. A nozzle is centrally located through the orifice plate and is adapted to generate a spray of coating liquid upwardly into the up bed. Particles located within the product container circulate upwardly through the partition and the coating liquid spray, between the up bed and the down bed. A central discharge assembly is provided at the lower end of the product containers for emptying particles from the machine.

  • Patent number: 6695919
Abstract: A fluidized bed apparatus for applying a coating liquid onto the surface of particles includes a vertically disposed cylindrical product container having a peripheral wall, at least one cylindrical partition defining a centrally located up bed region and a peripherally located down bed region. A nozzle is centrally located through the orifice plate and is adapted to generate a spray of coating liquid upwardly into the up bed. A nozzle ramp is provided around the nozzle. The nozzle ramp is generally cusp shaped and includes nozzle-ramp surface. The nozzle ramp is centrally positioned around the nozzle and is directed upwardly towards the partition so that the nozzle-ramp surface directs particles moving generally horizontally across the orifice plate from the down bed upwardly into the partition and the up bed. The nozzle ramp may further include air passages for passing fluidized air upwardly to the nozzle-ramp surface.
