  • Publication number: 20240004182
Abstract: A beam splitting device for a distal end of an endoscope, the beam splitting device comprising a first prism with a first entrance surface, a first internal incident surface, and a first exit surface; and a second prism with a second entrance surface and a second exit surface; and a dichroic beam splitting layer. The first exit surface of the first prism and the second entrance surface of the second prism are adjacent and the dichroic beam splitting layer is arranged between the surfaces so incoming beams comprising first and second spectral regions are reflected by the first internal incident surface of the first prism, incident on the first exit surface of the first prism and are split by the dichroic beam splitting layer into beams of the first spectral region and the second spectral region. An objective system and an endoscope with the beam splitting device are also presented.

  • Patent number: 11851937
Abstract: A method for controlling a motorized flap assembly of a motor vehicle, wherein the flap assembly includes a pivotable flap, a drive arrangement associated with the flap and a control arrangement for controlling the drive arrangement. A position sensor for determining position information related to the position of a selected component of the flap assembly is associated with the flap assembly and movement commands for the drive arrangement are generated by the control arrangement based on the position information, to close the flap to an upright closed position during a motorized closing process and to open the flap to a horizontal open position during a motorized opening process. The pivoted open flap may be occupied by an object or a person. The position sensor detects the object or person based on at least one occupancy criterion and an occupancy reaction is triggered depending on the detected occupancy state.

  • Publication number: 20230172444
Abstract: An objective system of a medical scope including an optical filter is disclosed. The optical filter includes a light incident side and a light exit side, a central region around an optical axis, and a peripheral region and is designed as an aperture with a single optical axis for white light and fluorescence light. The optical filter includes a first transmission zone for a transmittance of a first wavelength band and a second transmission zone for a transmittance of a second wavelength band at least partially different from the first wavelength band. At least one of the two transmission zones includes a filter coating. As a result, when both white light and fluorescence light pass the optical filter, a light beam cone of the fluorescence light has a larger diameter than a light beam cone of white light or vice versa. The invention also discloses a related endoscope.

  • Patent number: 11474164
Abstract: A method for determining a function of a capacitor of a passive filter circuit, which partially reduces line-conducted interference of an electrical device electrically coupled to a power supply system via the passive filter circuit. The passive filter circuit comprises the capacitor having a predefined capacitance value and a choke having a predefined inductance value. An electric capacitor voltage on the capacitor is detected. A connection voltage of the electrical device is detected. Spectral components are determined for the capacitor voltage and the connection voltage. The function of the capacitor is determined by analysing the spectral components in consideration of the inductance value of the choke by a statistical processing operation.

  • Patent number: 11128237
Abstract: In a method for operating an energy converter that couples a first supply network to a second supply network by converting electrical energy via a switch element, the switch element is operated in a switching operation and a supply-network current for one of the supply networks is adjusted depending on a comparison of the supply-network current with a reference current. In a first operating mode for the switching operation, an electrical voltage of one of the supply networks is set by a PWM method on the basis of the comparison, and a second operating mode is provided, in which the switch element is switched when, during the comparison, a difference between the supply-network current and the reference current is greater than a first predefined relative switching value and/or is smaller than a second predefined relative switching value, wherein the first and second operating modes are alternated during the operation.

  • Patent number: 6848308
Abstract: In order to compensate for a drop in sensitivity at high rotational speeds, an acceleration sensor having an inductive measuring head (T) which cooperates with a moving Ferraris disk (F) essentially over a main magnetic field and which supplies an acceleration-dependent variable (Vdet; V?) is expanded by an additional DC magnetic field excitation circuit (13, 14, IK, RK) with a means for driving the latter with the effect that the additional DC magnetic field acts in a compensating fashion on an eddy-current DC field, starting from a relatively high rotational speed (?) of the Ferraris disk (F). This can be performed by amplifying the main magnetic field or by reducing the eddy-current DC field. A control signal (V?), dependent on rotational speed, which both can be generated outside the sensor via a characteristic curve, and can be derived in the form of a control loop from the sensor signal (V?), serves as a drive.
