Patent number: 10793041Abstract: A method for producing an adjusting device for a vehicle seat has the following steps. A flexible hollow body is molded from a thermoplastic plastic by injection molding, wherein the hollow body forms a pressure medium chamber and has an opening which is surrounded by a connecting portion. Furthermore, a first film is arranged at the opening. In particular, a pressure medium line is inserted between the connecting portion or the opening and the first film. Finally, the first film is connected to the hollow body at the connecting portion of the opening at the connecting seam in order to thereby close off the pressure medium chamber. Because the flexible hollow body is formed in one step, in particular by an injection molding process, the manufacturing complexity is minimized and the robustness of the hollow body is increased.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 2017Date of Patent: October 6, 2020Assignee: Continental Automotive GmbHInventors: Johann Steinberger, Franz Stadler, Wolfgang Thiel, Markus Prexl

Publication number: 20080169579Abstract: In a process for depositing large dry textile fiber webs on a component shape, a rolled up textile fiber web is deposited fully automatically, by means of robots. A robot-carrier cloth gripper grips the end of the textile fiber web to be deposited, and places it on the component shape. The web is then unwound from the roll by a robot-carried cloth unwinding stand, and is deposited on the component shape. During the depositing, the textile fiber web is draped by means of robot-carried heated sliding metal sheets or robot-carried movably disposed heated rollers. The depositing operation is continuously monitored and automatically readjusted to maintain a constant depositing rate. Alignment of the textile fiber web relative to the component shape is also monitored continuously by optical devices, and is readjusted as required.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 7, 2007Publication date: July 17, 2008Applicant: EADS Deutschland GmbHInventors: Peter MUELLER-HUMMEL, Patrick TER, Jochen SCHOLLER, Franz STADLER, Gerd BERCHTOLD

Publication number: 20080083290Abstract: A force sensing device has a monolithic metal housing with a rigid upper housing part and a rigid lower housing part, which are interconnected via U-shaped spring elements while being movable in a springy manner towards each other along an axis of movement when a force is applied thereto. The spring elements are disposed symmetrically to one another relative to a cross-sectional area that runs parallel to the axis of movement. A deflection sensor is disposed between the upper and lower rigid housing parts for detecting their movement relative to one another. The unitary housing is produced in metal injection molding (MIM) technology.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 25, 2005Publication date: April 10, 2008Inventor: Franz Stadler
