  • Patent number: 8016550
Abstract: A direction-switchable pneumatic cylinder includes: a cylinder body with two intakes, several exhaustion ports and a rotary shaft; and a predetermined number of movable wheels and fixed wheels arranged in the cylinder body and interlaced with each other. Each of the movable wheels and fixed wheels is formed with several vents concentrically arranged into an inner circle and an outer circle. The rotary shaft is fitted through the movable wheels and fixed wheels. The fixed wheels are not rotatable, while the movable wheels are synchronously rotatably with the rotary shaft. The outer circles of vents of the fixed wheels and the movable wheels are aligned with one intake, while the inner circles of vents of the fixed wheels and the movable wheels are aligned with the other intake. When high-pressure gas is guided into the pneumatic cylinder from one intake, the airflow will flow through the outer circles of vents to drive the movable wheels and the rotary shaft in one direction.

  • Patent number: 7566199
Abstract: A turbo pneumatic cylinder of a pneumatic tool, including a front turbine, a one-way rotatable inverse turbine and a rear turbine. The front and rear turbines are mounted on the rotary shaft of the pneumatic cylinder. The inverse turbine is one-way rotatably fitted on the rotary shaft between the front and rear turbines. Multiple blades are arranged on the circumferences of the front and rear turbine and the inverse turbines. The blades of the inverse turbine are directed in a direction reverse to the direction of the blades of the front and rear turbines. The front and rear turbines and the rotary shaft rotate in the same direction, while the inverse turbine rotates in a direction reverse to the direction of the front and rear turbines. As a result, the efficiency of the pneumatic cylinder is enhanced and the twisting of the pneumatic cylinder is avoided when it is in operation.

  • Patent number: 7544116
Abstract: A grinder has a main body formed with a shaft chamber and a rotary shaft rotatably mounted in the shaft chamber. One end of the rotary shaft outward protrudes from the main body for installing a grinding tool thereon. A passage and a slide way are formed in the main body. One end of the passage communicates with the shaft chamber. A front end of the slide way communicates with the passage. A chucking button is disposed in the passage. A link is movably arranged in the slide way. An activation switch is mounted on the main body for controlling the operation of the grinder. When the grinder is not activated, the chucking button can be pressed to chuck the rotary shaft for easy replacement of a grinding tool. When the activation switch is switched on to activate the grinder, the link is chucked in the chucking button to prevent the chucking button from being pressed. Accordingly, when the grinder operates, the chucking button cannot chuck the rotary shaft so as to ensure safety.

  • Publication number: 20090007986
Abstract: A pneumatic tool includes a housing formed with an internal blowing flow way and an intake flow way. A blowing nozzle is disposed on a certain section of the housing and connected with a front end of the blowing flow way. A pneumatic cylinder is installed in a cylinder room of the housing. A switch is arranged between the intake flow way and the cylinder room and switchable between an intake position and a blowing position. High-pressure air flows from the intake flow way to the switch. An air conduit is formed on a front end of the switch. A shift button is mounted on the housing and connected with the switch. In use, when the switch is switched to the intake position, the air conduit of the switch communicates with the intake of the cylinder for driving the cylinder. When the switch is switched to the blowing position, the air conduit communicates with the rear end of the blowing flow way, whereby the high-pressure air blows out from the blowing nozzle to blow away dusts and chips.

  • Publication number: 20080085667
Abstract: A handheld wet grinder designed with water-discharging mechanism for wetting the powders. The wet grinder includes a main body and a water-discharging switch. A water incoming flow way is disposed in the main body and extends from the rear end of the main body to the front end thereof. A valve is installed in the flow way. The water-discharging switch is mounted on a circumference of the front end of the main body and connected with the valve. When shifting the water-discharging switch, the valve is driven to block or unblock the water incoming flow way so as to control water flow. The water incoming flow way is directly disposed in the main body without being exposed to outer side so that the flow way of water is protected from being damaged. In addition, the water-discharging switch is positioned at the front end of the main body so that a user can conveniently operate the water-discharging switch with the hand holding the main body without using the other hand.

  • Patent number: 7311588
Abstract: A water grinder including: a housing in which a rotary shaft is drivably disposed, the rotary shaft being formed with an axial passage; a water incoming flow way formed in the housing; a valve disposed in the housing and controllable by a selection switch; an external water discharging assembly disposed at a front end of the housing and having at least one water outlet; and a water flow bypass communicating with the external water discharging assembly and the valve. By means of turning the selection switch, the valve can be turned to a position to conduct the water from the flow way into the passage of the rotary shaft to discharge therefrom. Alternatively, the valve can be turned to another position to conduct the water to flow into the external water discharging assembly to discharge from the water outlet. Accordingly, the water discharging position is controllable to achieve best wetting effect for the powder dust produced in grinding operation.

  • Patent number: 7252580
Abstract: A grinder with easily installable/detachable grinding disc, including: a main body in which a driving unit is disposed for driving a rotary shaft, an annular toothed section being formed on the circumference of the rotary shaft; a bracket rotatably disposed under the bottom face of the main body; a support tray disposed under the bracket, several rail channels being radially formed on the support tray; and a predetermined number of detent members respectively slidably disposed in the rail channels. When turning the bracket, the detent members are driven to move along the rail channels. When the detent members are contracted, the arched toothed sections of the inner ends of the detent members engage with the annular toothed section of the rotary shaft, whereby the rotary shaft cannot rotate for replacing grinding disc. After replacing the grinding disc, the detent members are moved outward along the rail channels to disengage from the rotary shaft.

  • Publication number: 20070154303
Abstract: An axial flow cylinder of pneumatic tool, including: a cylinder body formed with an internal cylinder chamber; a rotary shaft rotatably disposed in the cylinder chamber along an axis of the cylinder body; and a predetermined number of movable wheels and fixed wheels mounted in the cylinder chamber. Multiple oblique first vents are annularly formed on each movable wheel at equal intervals. Multiple oblique second vents are annularly formed on each fixed wheel at equal intervals. The first and second vents are inclined in reverse directions. The movable wheels and the fixed wheels are interlaced with each other. The fixed wheels are fixedly disposed in the cylinder chamber without possibility of rotation. The movable wheels are synchronously rotatable with the rotary shaft. After high-pressure air flows from the intake into the cylinder chamber, the movable wheels and rotary shaft are driven and rotated by the high-pressure air.

  • Patent number: 7128641
Abstract: A grinder having a rotary shaft and a grinding disc mounted at a bottom end of the rotary shaft for grinding a work piece. A press button unit is disposed on a housing of the grinder. By means of pressing the press button unit, the rotary shaft of the grinder can be seized for replacement of the grinding disc. Before pressing the press button unit, a user must first angularly displace the press button unit. That is, the press button unit cannot be directly pressed without being first turned by a certain angle. Therefore, in operation, mis-touch of the press button unit can be avoided so as to avoid damage of the grinder.
