  • Patent number: 6887141
Abstract: A grinder with fast installable/detachable grinding disc, including: a main body; a rotary shaft disposed at bottom end of the main body, a shaft rod of the grinding disc being mounted in the shaft hole of the rotary shaft, whereby the grinding disc is drivable by the rotary shaft; a rotary switch mounted on the main body; a linking device mounted at bottom end of the main body and drivable by the rotary switch; and a detent mechanism mounted in the rotary shaft. When the rotary switch is rotated to drive and move the linking device to a first position, the detent mechanism is moved into the shaft hole of the rotary shaft to fix the shaft rod of the grinding disc in the shaft hole. When the rotary switch is rotated to drive and move the linking device to a second position, the detent mechanism is moved out of the shaft hole of the rotary shaft to release the shaft rod of the grinding disc. Accordingly, the grinding disc is fast replaceable by means of simple operation.

  • Patent number: 6863158
Abstract: Oil filling structure of pneumatic tool, including an airflow way formed in the main body for conducting high pressure air into a pneumatic cylinder disposed in the pneumatic tool. An air intake switch is connected with the airflow way for controlling opening/closing of the airflow way. An oil filling hole is disposed in air intake switch. When the switch is positioned in a close position, a lubricant can be filled into the oil filling hole to flow into the airflow way. The high pressure air can entrain the lubricant in the airflow way into the cylinder to lubricate and clean the cylinder.

  • Patent number: 6860260
Abstract: Base seat of a pneumatic grinder, including an air way and a water way disposed in the base seat to respectively communicate with an air chamber and a water chamber formed in the base seat. Several water outlets and a predetermined number of air rooms are disposed on a bottom face of the base seat. The water outlets communicate with the water chamber, while the air rooms communicate with the air chamber. Multiple ball bodies are respectively rollably disposed in the air rooms, the bottom edge of the ball bodies protrude from the bottom face of the base seat. When high pressure air and water are conducted into the air way and water way, the air is conducted by the air way to flow into the air chamber and to blow to the ball bodies in the air rooms making the ball bodies rolling easily. The water flows through the water way into the water chamber and then flows through the water outlets out of the bottom face of the base seat to reduce frictional force against the bottom face of the base seat.

  • Publication number: 20040203329
Abstract: A grinder with easily installable/detachable grinding disc, including: a main body in which a driving unit is disposed for driving a rotary shaft, an annular toothed section being formed on the circumference of the rotary shaft; a bracket rotatably disposed under the bottom face of the main body; a support tray disposed under the bracket, several rail channels being radially formed on the support tray; and a predetermined number of detent members respectively slidably disposed in the rail channels. When turning the bracket, the detent members are driven to move along the rail channels. When the detent members are contracted, the arched toothed sections of the inner ends of the detent members engage with the annular toothed section of the rotary shaft, whereby the rotary shaft cannot rotate for replacing grinding disc. After replacing the grinding disc, the detent members are moved outward along the rail channels to disengage from the rotary shaft.

  • Patent number: 6752705
Abstract: A pneumatic tool with safety effect, including: a main body formed with an internal flow way for a fluid to flow into the main body to drive a cylinder therein; a press switch disposed in the main body for blocking the flow way in normal state; a trigger disposed on the main body for pressing the press switch; a slide member slidably disposed on the main body; and a linking member disposed on the slide member. In normal state, the slide member is such positioned that a position difference exists between the linking member and the press switch. When activating the pneumatic tool, a user pushes the slide member to move the linking member to a position above the press switch. By means of pressing the trigger, the linking member is driven to press the press switch.
