Publication number: 20110155824Abstract: A fuel injection device includes at least one fuel injector, one mounting hole in a cylinder head for the fuel injector, and a decoupling element between a valve housing of the fuel injector and the wall of the mounting hole. As a lenticular spring element, the decoupling element has a nonlinear, progressive spring characteristic curve, such that a low rigidity of the decoupling element prevails during idle operation and a high rigidity of the decoupling element prevails during nominal system pressure.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 28, 2009Publication date: June 30, 2011Inventors: Michael Fischer, Friedrich Moser, Markus Friedrich

Publication number: 20080190258Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for cropping the ends of or for separating test pieces from rolled strip wound into bundles. An apparatus is disclosed which, by means of an outwardly pivotable bottom roller (2) and guide devices (5, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14) for guiding the strip end to the shears, also makes it possible to process strips which are thicker or of greater firmness and are wound into bundles (10). Furthermore, a method is specified, which allows a reliable sampling and, if appropriate, inspection of the sample from strips wound into bundles, a closed bundle being obtained again after sampling.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 31, 2006Publication date: August 14, 2008Inventors: Friedrich Moser, Roland Gatterbauer, Jurgen Schiefer, Werner Rab

Patent number: 6901915Abstract: The fuel injection system has one high-pressure fuel pump and one fuel injection valve for each cylinder of the engine. The fuel injection valve has a first hollow injection valve member and a second valve member guided displaceably, inside the first valve member for controlling first and second opening(s), respectively into the associated engine cylinder. The second valve member is movable by the pressure prevailing in a pressure chamber in an opening direction counter to a closing force and is acted upon at least indirectly by the pressure prevailing in a fuel-filled control chamber, which pressure is controllable as a function of operating parameters of the engine such that the second injection valve member, by means of the pressure prevailing in the control chamber, can be blocked, independently of an opening motion of the first injection valve member in a position that closes the at least one second injection opening.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2002Date of Patent: June 7, 2005Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Joachim Winter, Maike Sander-Potz, Gerhard Mack, Christoph Buehler, Friedrich Moser, Thomas Kuegler, Philippe Allio, Peter Boehland, Detlev Potz

Patent number: 6886760Abstract: A fuel injection valve with a valve body has a bore that contains a piston-shaped valve member. The valve member is guided in the bore with a sealing section and a guiding section; between the sealing section and the guiding section, the valve member is encompassed by a first pressure chamber and between the guiding section and the combustion chamber end, is encompassed by a second pressure chamber. In the guiding section of the valve member, an annular collar is provided and has a side oriented toward the combustion chamber and a side oriented away from the combustion chamber. The annular collar has a throttle connection embodied on it, which connects the sides of the annular collar to each other and thus produces a throttled connection from the first pressure chamber to the second pressure chamber.Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 2001Date of Patent: May 3, 2005Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Wendelin Potz, Maike Sander-Potz, Friedrich Moser, Thomas Kuegler, Detlev Potz

Patent number: 6134934Abstract: To ensure optimum temperature conditions for a strip (9, 9') in reverse rolling, two or several strips (9, 9') are rolled alternately, wherein during the rolling of one of the strips (9) in at least one rolling pass the other strip (9') or the other strips remain in a waiting position wound into a coil (12).Type: GrantFiled: July 31, 1998Date of Patent: October 24, 2000Assignee: Voest-Alpine Industrieanlagenbau GmbHInventors: Friedrich Moser, Gerhard Finstermann

Patent number: 6073081Abstract: The invention provides a method and a device for monitoring the filling of a tank with a liquid, deep-frozen gas, in which the temperature and the pressure of the liquid gas in the tank are recorded, and the mass of the liquid gas in the tank is calculated from the temperature and the volume. In the prior art, a system with an overflow was used as a filling-level limitation, in which case the height of the overflow took the maximum increase in volume into account. With this limitation of the filling level, because the phase boundary is only determined independently of the density, the maximum permissible filling level must take into account the maximum possible increase in volume of the liquid gas. With the system according to the invention, better utilization of the tank volume is possible, because the increase in volume actually possible is taken into account based on the actually prevailing pressure and temperature state of the liquid gas introduced.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 1997Date of Patent: June 6, 2000Assignee: Messer Griesheim GmbHInventors: Wolfgang Hettinger, Friedrich Moser, Klaus Pehr, Joachim Tachtler

Patent number: 5778716Abstract: A coiler furnace for a hot strip includes a strip inlet opening, at least one coiler formed by a coiler mandrel, a strip outlet opening different from the strip inlet opening and a heat-insulating furnace wall surrounding the coiler on all sides. A coiler mandrel is movable by an adjustment device into a coiling start position at the strip inlet opening for the purpose of seizing the beginning of the hot strip as well as into an uncoiling position in which a coil wound on the coiler mandrel is pressed against a pressing roller arranged, or to be arranged, stationarily at the coiler furnace.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 1996Date of Patent: July 14, 1998Assignee: Voest-Alpine Industrieanlagenbau GmbHInventor: Friedrich Moser

Patent number: 5697241Abstract: There is disclosed a rolling arrangement including a rolling stand and a preceding descaling means. In order to obtain a perfect surface quality while maintaining a high energy content of the rolling stock the descaling means is arranged immediately in front of the rolls of the rolling stand and is formed by a rotor descaling means. The liquid jets emerging from the rotor descaling means and impinging on the rolling stock are directed opposite to the rolling direction. The liquid impinging on the point of impact of the liquid jet on the surface of the rolling stock, after impingement has a flow resultant which--projected on the rolling direction--has a component opposite to the rolling direction.Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 1995Date of Patent: December 16, 1997Assignee: Voest-Alpine Industrieanlagenbau GmbHInventors: Gerlinde Djumlija, Friedrich Moser, Johann Oberhumer, Heinrich Puhringer, Klaus Zeman

Patent number: 5479807Abstract: A hot strip coiler furnace is disclosed, which comprises a furnace hood, a drivable coiler drum, which is accommodated in the furnace hood and has a strip-receiving opening for receiving the leading end of the incoming strip, and a strip-receiving guide, which has a delivery end adjacent to the strip-receiving opening of the coiler drum when it is in a strip-receiving position. In order to permit the hot strip to be completely pulled into the coiler furnace, it is proposed that a strip-delivering guide for the outgoing strip is provided, which guide protrudes or is adapted to be introduced into the generally triangular space which is defined by the coil of strip and the incoming or outgoing strip.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 1994Date of Patent: January 2, 1996Assignee: Voest-Alpine Industrieanlagenbau GmbHInventor: Friedrich Moser
