  • Publication number: 20040080175
Abstract: The invention relates to a wind shield for motorbikes which can be positioned in various positions on the motorbike in an adjustable manner by means of a holding device (6), and can be adjusted by means of a drive device (8). Said drive device (8) comprises a cable or a cable pull connection (22, 23, 24, 25) between a drive motor (26) of the drive device (8) and a support element (16) pertaining to the adjustable wind shield. The invention also relates to a wind shield for motorbikes which is positioned on the motorbike in an adjustable manner by means of a holding device (6), said holding device (6) comprising two non-parallel guiding mechanisms (11, 19) for adjusting different positions of the wind shield (3) in terms of height and/or inclination, when it is moved along the guiding mechanisms (13, 19). The first guiding mechanism (11) is fixed to the vehicle and the second guiding mechanism (19) is arranged on the wind shield (3).

  • Patent number: 6688670
Abstract: A convertible roof (2) of a convertible motor vehicle with at least one front roof part which is movably supported on the body by a bearing (8), and a rear roof part (13) which can be moved over the front roof part (5) and can be lowered with it into a rear stowage space (3). An especially simple structure can be achieved when the rear roof part (13) on the front side can be moved over the front roof part (5) by a raising mechanism (27) which is movably supported on a lengthwise guide (32) which is located on the front roof part (5). A carriage (31) can be guided on the lengthwise guide (32) of the front roof part (5) and the raising lever (28) of the raising mechanism, which lever is pivotally connected to the rear roof part (13), is supported on the carriage to be able to pivot and to be moved by the raising mechanism.

  • Patent number: 6672657
Abstract: A wind deflector (5) for a motor vehicle with roof or a convertible top which can be transferred to a stowage space. The wind deflector (5) is pivotally supported on a cross beam (4) which extends over the front windshield (3), and it can be pivoted by a drive (13) which also actuates a detachable interlock of the convertible top (2) on the cross beam (4), depending on the position of the raising mechanism (18) which is actuated by the drive means (13) for the wind deflector (5), a locking device (11) is coupled to the drive (13) or is uncoupled from it.

  • Patent number: 4730123
Abstract: A circuit arrangement for driving a capcitive load comprises a control circuit (1), whose output is the collector of an output transistor (2). The collector is coupled through the gatesource path of a junction field effect transistor (5) and a resistor (6) connected parallel thereto to the capacitive load (8). The drain connection of the J-FET is connected to the supply voltage (Ub). The circuit permits rapid switching of the load while maintaining the current consumption relatively low.

  • Patent number: 4719552
Abstract: A circuit arrangement for producing a direct voltage from a sinusoidal input voltage comprising a filter for suppressing interference voltages, a rectifier, a switched mode power supply part and a pulse generator. The pulse generator produces from the rectified input signal switching pulses for the switched mode power supply part. The frequency of these pulses is varied so that it is a minimum at the maximum value of the rectified input voltage and is a maximum at the minimum value and is varied between the extreme values so that the second derivative of the frequency with respect to time is always zero or negative. A switching pulse is terminated when a signal proportional to the output current of the rectifier exceeds the difference between a signal proportional to the rectified input voltage and an integrated signal proportional to the output current of the rectifier.
