Abstract: A thermo-pressed cushioning support device includes a topping sheet of cushioning material, a substrate sheet of cushioning material and at least a padding attached between the topping sheet of cushioning material and the substrate sheet of cushioning material. The padding undergoes an external force pressing treatment along with the topping sheet and the substrate sheet in a high temperature condition, melting and mating the topping and the substrate sheets into one entity. The heat treatment creates thermo-binding lines or regions of geometric patterns on the topping sheet, and also internal pockets within the topping sheet, where the padding is enclosed in such a way to provide impact reducing and shape modeling effects intended for the present invention. Embodiments of the thermo-pressed cushioning support, such as seat cushion, back cushion, couch cushion, or mattress topper, provide benefits to the user's body that include reduced anxiety, decreased perception of impact force, and collision prevention.

Abstract: A pillow construction is designed to provide a user desirable support to the head and neck of a user, air permeability, ventilation, and air-cooling, to maintain a healthy thermal homeostatis by covering with a breathable cover sheet and a predetermined arrangement of apertures. The pillow construction comprises a head support having a hollow case, made by a solid-state or semi-solid-state material, wherein at least one aperture is formed on a plurality of horizontally opposed side walls on an exterior surface of the head support. A buffer material or a damper material may be selected to be attached onto the surface of the head support for the purpose of enhanced elastic support. A set of holes or slits may be selected to be formed on the surface of the head support to facilitate air convection.

Abstract: An improved cushion structure comprises: a pad, which is disposed a plurality of buffering materials therein, at least one indentation is disposed at the buffering materials, a connecting portion is between the buffering materials, the height of the connecting portion is lower than the height of the buffering materials so as to have a height difference between the buffering materials and the connecting portion, a sunken channel is existed between the buffering materials correspondingly; and a flexible melting absorbing material, which is filled into the indentations of the buffering materials, a flexible layer is then formed on the buffering materials while the flexible melting absorbing material is cured.

The buffer portion and the filler portion are placed in the internal space of the enclosure portion. The buffer portion is in contact with the first layer and the rear surface of the filler portion is in contact with the second layer. The fixing portion is connected with the second layer of the enclosure portion. The fixing portion enables the back cushion to be attached to a suitable place of a chair or a supporting member. The sudden motion of our back at the moment we sit and lie back on the board may be buffered by the filling material and buffering material. Therefore, injuries to our back and body may be avoided and discomfort may be alleviated.

A convex portion is formed on the front part near the central part of the upper surface. A concave portion is formed on either side of the convex portion. The layer of the buffering material and the layer of the filling material may be arranged in various configurations on the base board. As a user sits on the cushion of the present invention, his thighs are on the concave portions and his bottom is on the rear portion of the base board. In addition, the buffering material can effectively buffer the sudden downward force exerted by our body while we sit down on the cushion.

Abstract: A method of making a mat uses a T-die of an extruder for extruding a molten polymer substance of a cladding material, wherein a transporting device is located below the T-die, and the transporting device is provided with a feeding wheel, which is wound by a roll of cross-linked polyolefin foam (or CLPO foam for abbreviation) or EVA foam to serve as a base material for finishing. The CLPO foam or EVA foam, which serves as the base material for finishing, can be filmed with the cladding material on a single surface or a double-surface. After being filmed with the cladding material, the CLPO foam or EVA foam is rolled into concaved and convex patterns by the knurling wheels, and its temperature is then decreased by the cooling wheels for shaping into the mat which is light in weight, slipper-proof, abrasive-proof, and flexible.
