Abstract: A SMT tape includes a carrier tape, a number of separation pads, a number of workpieces, and a package tape. The carrier tape includes a package surface and defines a number of receiving grooves in the package surface and arranged along a length direction of the carrier tape. The separation pads are received in the receiving grooves and fixed to bottom surfaces of the receiving grooves respectively. Each separation pad includes a separation surface opposite to a bottom surface of the corresponding receiving groove and a number of protrusions protruding up from the separation surface. The workpieces are respectively received in the receiving grooves. Each workpiece includes a main body and an adhesive layer positioned between the corresponding separation pad and the main body. The package tape is adhered to the package surface and seals the receiving grooves.

Abstract: A device for assembling a camera module includes a base and a buffer layer. The camera module includes a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB), a lens module positioned on the FPCB, and a stiffener adhering to the FPCB, opposite to the lens module. The lens module includes a first stepped surface facing away from the FPCB. The base includes a supporting surface for supporting the FPCB and defines a holding groove in the supporting surface for holding the lens module. The holding groove forms a second stepped surface for supporting the first stepped surface. The buffer layer is positioned on the second stepped surface and is elastically compressed when the camera module is subjected to a hot pressing process, which secures the stiffener adhering to the FPCB, to provide relief against, and extend the duration of, various pressures applied to the camera module.

Abstract: Novel molecular transporter compositions and their use for transporting bioactive substances into cells in living animals are disclosed. To afford in vivo delivery, the composition is covalently linked to the bioactive substance and the resultant composite structure is introduced into the subject. The transporter composition includes multiple guanidine moieties on a dendrimeric scaffold having a tri-functional core. The tri-functional core is a phosphorodiamidate or phosphoramide moiety.

Abstract: An amplifier circuit includes an amplifier and a noise suppression block. The amplifier is arranged for receiving an input signal at an input port and generating an output signal at an output port according to the input signal. The noise suppression block is coupled between the input port and the output port of the amplifier, and arranged for receiving the input signal and the output signal and applying noise suppression to the output signal generated from the amplifier according to the received input signal and the received output signal.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for re-instantiating a firmware environment that includes one or more firmware functions available at pre-boot time when transitioning the computing device from a first, higher power consumption state to a second, lower power consumption state. The firmware environment determines whether a cryptographic signature on a firmware volume is verified; whether hardware resources of the computing device requested by a manifest of the firmware volume are available; and whether a firmware module of the firmware volume is compatible with installed firmware of the firmware environment. If so, the firmware environment reserves space in a memory to accommodate resources used by the firmware module, and executes the firmware module with the computing device in the second, lower power consumption state.

Abstract: A three-dimensional (3-D) memory includes: multiple memory dies, each having at least one memory bank and a built-in self-test (BIST) circuit; and a plurality of channels, for electrically connecting the memory dies. In a synchronous test, one of the memory dies is selected as a master die. The BIST circuit of the master die sends an enable signal via the channels to the memory dies under test. The BIST circuit in each of the memory dies is for testing memory banks on the same memory die or on different memory dies.

Abstract: A printed circuit board includes an insulating layer and a conductive metal layer attached on the insulating layer. The conductive metal layer is grounded and is configured for providing a ground path for electronic components mounted on the printed circuit board. The insulating layer includes an exposed portion free of the conductive metal layer thereon, and two pads are formed on the exposed portion of the insulating layer and are insulated from each other. Abstract: Morpholinos are widely used to block the activity of selected single-stranded genetic sequences. This invention comprises Morpholinos containing one or more integral photolinkers (Photo-Morpholinos) wherein the photolinkers are directly incorporated into the sequence of a Morpholino, where the photolinker has a size and structure which emulates the size and structure of a Morpholino subunit. This integrated photolinker design substantially simplifies and reduces cost of production relative to earlier photocleavable compositions. The invention also comprises use of these Photo-Morpholinos for modulating the expression of any selected gene transcript at any selected time and at any selected site simply by exposure to light. These Photo-Morpholinos afford a new use wherein a gene transcript is rendered inactive by contacting with a Photo-Morpholino—and then later exposure to light cleaves the Photo-Morpholino to inactive fragments—thereby reactivating that previously inactivated gene transcript.

Abstract: A high-temperature gas-cooled reactor steam generating system comprises a plurality of nuclear steam supply systems, a high-pressure cylinder (21), a low-pressure cylinder (22), a condenser (23), a condensate pump (24), a low-pressure heater (25), a deaerator (26), a water supply pump (27), and a high-pressure heater (28) which are sequentially connected end to end to form a close steam loop. On one hand, the inherent safety of the reactor is guaranteed and the generating system is simplified with the inherent safety. On the other hand, the scale economy of the steam engine system and other systems of a whole power station is guaranteed through batch copy, a shared auxiliary system and a scale effect.
