    Abstract: A method of measurement of stress and strain whole process material parameter by using method for hydrostatic pressure unloading is disclosed, which is directed to the cyclic test of loading and unloading. With the assumption that only the deviator stress generates damage to the sample, a test method of the hydrostatic pressure unloading is invented in order to calculate mechanical parameters in different stages of stress and strain. Nine mechanical parameters can be calculated in connection with hexahedral pores connecting samples in the true triaxial test. Six mechanical parameters can be calculated for non-pores connecting samples. Nine mechanical parameters can be calculated in connection with hexahedral pores connecting samples in the traditional triaxial test. Six mechanical parameters can be calculated for non-pores connecting samples. The specific expressions and test methods are provided.

    Abstract: A dynamic damper in a lighting driving circuit for limiting an inrush current includes a damper circuit and a timing circuit comprising capacitor. The damper circuit is connected to the timing circuit. When an input voltage is provided to the dynamic damper, the capacitor begins to be charged and the capacitance-voltage of the capacitor rises. The damper circuit enters to a first working state and generates a dynamic damper resistor value. When the capacitance-voltage of the capacitor is greater than a first threshold voltage, the damper circuit enters to a second working state and the dynamic damper resistor value begins to decrease. When the capacitance-voltage of the capacitor is greater than a second threshold voltage, the damper circuit enters to a short-circuit state, and the dynamic damper resistor value decreases to zero to facilitate the normal work of the power source converter.

    Abstract: Disclosure in the description is related to a method for rhythm visualization, a system, and computer-readable storage. The invention allows the system to visualize the rhythm according to audio signals and personal features made by individual. In the method according to one embodiment, a personal image is firstly captured, and features can be extracted from the image. A personalized image is therefore created based on the features. Next, audio features are extracted from the audio signals. A personalized rhythm configuration can be obtained. A personalized rhythm video is therefore created based on the information related to the audio, personalized image, and the personalized rhythm configuration. Furthermore, a group rhythm video may also be obtained as integrating multiple personal rhythm data.

    Abstract: Architecture that enables a user to perform manual word-breaking by phrase input. Phrase input is where the user inserts a phrase-key (or separator) as a delimiter that indicates to an editor application such as an IME (input method editor) the composition of a specific phrase when entering characters (e.g., Asian). The word-breaking is controlled by the user. The conversion quality is improved as the user knows the desired input and ambiguous cases are reduced. A phrase can be specified while the user is composing the characters. By selecting a phrase-key separator, the user can specify the composing characters before the characters are presented as a phrase. Moreover, the architecture includes a phrase prioritization mechanism wherein each phrase can be treated as a single entity and assigned a character identifier (ID), which is related to the sequence of a candidate list.

    Abstract: An Alternating-current-Direct-current (AC-DC dual-use) Light Emitting Diode (LED) driving circuit includes an input power circuit, a buck-boost converter, and a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal controller. The buck-boost converter, including a switching transistor and a feedback resistor, receives a current signal output from the input power circuit, and drives an LED with a driving signal. The PWM signal controller outputs a PWM signal according to the driving signal, so as to sequentially turn on and turn off the switching transistor. One end of the feedback resistor is coupled to the LED, and a floating ground terminal of the PWM signal controller is coupled to the switching transistor and the other end of the feedback resistor. Therefore, the AC-DC dual-use LED driving circuit is capable of dynamically adjusting the duty ratio of the PWM signal without connecting an external photocoupler.

The extensible reading system receives custom readings from a user that include a sequence of keyboard characters and a selection of a language character that is to be inserted into a document when a user inputs the sequence of keyboard characters. Thus, the extensible reading system allows the user to update the readings for mapping keyboard characters to language characters much more frequently.
