Abstract: A text-to-speech method and a multi-lingual speech synthesizer using the method are disclosed. The multi-lingual speech synthesizer and the method executed by a processor are applied for processing a multi-lingual text message in a mixture of a first language and a second language into a multi-lingual voice message. The multi-lingual speech synthesizer comprises a storage device configured to store a first language model database, a second language model database, a broadcasting device configured to broadcast the multi-lingual voice message, and a processor, connected to the storage device and the broadcasting device, configured to execute the method disclosed herein.

Abstract: Architecture that facilitates language conversion and previewing of a message attachment in multiple different languages. The architecture can be employed in a messaging application or a personal information manager program, for example, such that the message attachment can be selected and designated for conversion into a different language, and then previewed in the different language. For example, a first language can be simplified Chinese and a second language can be traditional Chinese, such that the user can toggle the preview to view the attachment in the simplified or traditional Chinese languages. The attachment can be a word processing document, a spreadsheet document, a presentation document for the presentation of information, and/or a web feed document. Additionally, the attachment can be one of multiple attachments to the message that is selected by the user.

Abstract: A method for producing metal carbonate is disclosed. The method includes the following steps of providing a first mixture of metal and a catalyst containing iron, NO groups, and N-containing ligands first; then introducing carbon dioxide to the first mixture to form a second mixture and obtaining a product. The method described here can improve the yield and decrease the cost of metal carbonate production.

The bridge assembly includes first and second hinge parts. The first hinge part has a first pivot coupling portion and a first connecting portion. The second hinge part has a second pivot coupling portion and a second connecting portion, wherein the first and second connecting portions are connected on an axis, and the first and second hinge parts rotate with respect to the axis. The first and second supporting parts are coupled to two ends of the first and second pivot coupling portions, respectively. The attractable element is disposed on the second hinge part. The magnet is correspondingly located under the attractable element for providing a magnetic force, so that the attractable element is attracted and positioned by the magnetic force.

Each of the at least one first transmission parameter is associated with transmission from the network apparatus to one of its neighboring network apparatuses. Each of the second transmission parameters is associated with transmission between two network apparatuses neighboring each other. The network apparatus enumerates a plurality of paths from itself to a target network apparatus and calculates a path cost for each of the paths according to at least a portion of a combination of the at least one first transmission parameter and the second transmission parameters.

The light-transparent substrate has a first surface facing to the light source and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The light diffusion structure is disposed on the first surface, and the light filtering structure is disposed on the second surface. The light source module may reduce flicker. Further, a projection apparatus having the light source module is also provided.

The second agitation level affected at the substrate is greater than the first agitation level affected at the substrate. Abstract: A method of calculating the potential sliding surface of the progressive failure of slope is provided, which is also abbreviated as a failure angle rotation method. The method performs the search calculation of the potential sliding surface of the slope to determine the potential sliding surface, under the assumption that the geological material failure satisfies the condition of the angle between the maximum shear stress surface and the minimum principal stress axis corresponding to the critical stress state being (45° +?/2), and based on the fact that the principal stress directions at different positions are rotated while the slope is applied different external loads and gravity loads. The failure path is varied with the change of the stress during the failure process to perform the solution for the potential sliding surface of the slope based on numerical calculation.

The invention also relates to methods for preparing metal organic frameworks comprising chromium, titanium or iron ions and carboxylate ligands. The coverage hole detection apparatus decides two boundary locations of a coverage hole according to (a) a time length from a time point when a user equipment (UE) has detected a disconnection from a first base station to a time point when the UE determines that a Radio Link Failure (RLF) has happened, (b) a time length from a time point when the UE receives an RLF report request from a second base station to a time point when the UE transmits an RLF report response to the second base station, (c) a location that the UE determines that the RLF has happened, and (d) a location where the UE transmits the RLF report response. The coverage hole detection apparatus decides the coverage hole according to the two boundary locations and a sensitivity range of the UE.

In the method according to one embodiment, a personal image is firstly captured, and features can be extracted from the image. A personalized image is therefore created based on the features. Next, audio features are extracted from the audio signals. A personalized rhythm configuration can be obtained. A personalized rhythm video is therefore created based on the information related to the audio, personalized image, and the personalized rhythm configuration. Furthermore, a group rhythm video may also be obtained as integrating multiple personal rhythm data.

Abstract: A social communication system and a method thereof are provided. The system includes a server apparatus and a user device. The user device transmits an authorization request to the server apparatus, and the server apparatus inquires an authorized individual whether to agree a user to access a friendship list of the authorized individual. When the authorized individual agrees the user to access the friendship list of the authorized individual, the friendship list of the authorized individual is added to a FOF database. The user device transmits an anonymous social communication service request to the server apparatus to obtain an anonymous social communication service for the user and the authorized individual. Besides, when the service is stopped, the server apparatus inquires both of the authorized individual and the user whether they agree to provide their profiles to each other as the basis for the friendship.
