Abstract: A closure has a first screw thread (11) capable of cooperating with a second screw thread formed by a container intended to receive the closure. An elastically deformed part (28, 31) is capable, when the first (11) and second screw threads are engaged, of keeping the closure bearing elastically on the container in at least one direction oriented radially with respect to the closure, so as to improve the holding and working of the closure on the container.

Abstract: An applicator for applying a product, includes a handling element secured to an application member. The application member includes a base and an application support is mounted on the application member. The application support defines an application surface. The applicator includes a manipulation member designed to alter a profile of the application surface at right angles to a mid-plane of the base. At least one passage passes through the base. A portion of the manipulation member extends through the at least one passage so that the manipulation member can be placed in engagement with the application support so as to alter the profile of the application surface. The applicator can be used, for example, for treating or applying makeup to the face.

Abstract: A disposable make-up applicator comprising at least one layer of a porous, flexible material, where at least one part of a first face is impregnated with at least one slakable make-up product, and having a second face, opposite the first, which is covered with an impermeable film. The first face has at least one peripheral portion zone, which is not impregnated with the make-up product, and serves as a zone for gripping the applicator and/or a zone for shading off the product when applied by the user.

Abstract: A dispensing device for dispensing a mixture of at least two components comprises a container body defining at least two compartments kept sealed from one another by a stopper member prior to dispensing the mixture. An actuator operably coupled to the stopper member selectively places the stopper member in a storage position in which the two compartments are sealed from one another and in a mixing position in which the two compartments are in flow communication with one another. The stopper member has a lateral cross-section that is larger in the storage position than in the mixing position. The dispensing device can be used for packaging and applying components that should not be mixed until they are ready to be dispensed.

Abstract: The present application relates to a container configured as a cosmetic case and including a base and a lid capable of reversibly covering the base. The lid is mounted on the base in such a manner that, in the open position, it can be positioned under the base. According to the invention, the lid is mounted slidably with respect to a linking member, wherein the base and the linking member cooperate to guide sliding of the lid with respect to the linking member. The lid is also mounted pivotally with respect to the base, wherein the sliding movement of the lid is independent of the pivoting movement of the lid.

Abstract: A case (1) is filled by pouring, in the liquid phase, at least two products A and B, the case having a base (2) and a lid (4). The method includes the steps of installing within the case a thin membrane (5) made of a material which is soluble in the solvent of at least one of the products, the membrane (5) being arranged in a manner such as to define, within the case, at least a first space (6) and a second space (7), the first and second spaces (6, 7) being isolated from each other over at least part of the axial height of the case, pouring the product A into the first space (6) and the product B into the second space (7), and allowing the products to dry in a manner such as to set the products, the membrane (5) becoming solubilized in the solvent during the setting of the products A and B within the first space (6) and the second space (7), respectively.

Abstract: A makeup case is composed of a bottom (2) and a lid (4) which is hinged to the bottom and can be reversibly locked against the said bottom. The bottom and the lid are formed from identical molded parts. A joint structure is designed to be used interchangeably for hinging the bottom to the lid or for reversibly locking the lid against the bottom. The hinging of the bottom to the lid and the reversible locking of the lid against the bottom are provided by mechanical snap-fastening at the joint structure.

Abstract: An assembly (1) for packaging and applying a product, especially a cosmetic product, includes a reservoir (2) formed of a body (3) surmounted by a neck (12) having a free edge which delimits an opening (18) and a cap element (17) capable of removably capping the opening (18). The cap element (17) forms a member by which to grasp an applicator (22), secured to a first end (21) of a connecting member (20) whose second end (19) is secured to the cap element (17). When the cap element (17) is in the closed position, the applicator (22) lies inside the reservoir (2) so that it can withdraw some of the product. The neck (12) is of axis Y, distinct from the axis X of the body, and mounted so that it is free to rotate with respect to the said body (3).

Abstract: A case (1) has a bottom (2) which has a first screw thread (7), and a lid (3) with a second screw thread capable of engaging with the first screw thread (7), in order to screw (or unscrew) the lid onto (or from) the bottom. A connector (16) is capable, when the first screw thread (7) is not engaged with the second (8), of forming an articulation between the lid (3) and the bottom (2) so as to allow the case to be opened (or closed). The connector (16) is at least in part free to rotate with respect to either the bottom (2) or the lid (3) and connect the bottom (2) to the lid (3) regardless of their respective angular positions.

Abstract: A device for the packaging and application of a friable product presented in the form of a lipstick including a tubular element with slide(s), wherein there is slidably mounted a cup intended to receive the lipstick, the cup having at least one stub engaged in a corresponding slide delimited by two longitudinal edges. A cylindrical shell provided with an internal helical groove has the tubular element freely rotatable inside it, with the stubs of the cup engaging in the helical grooves of the shell. Soft friction between the cup and the tubular element is ensured by a tangential elastic deformation of at least one of the longitudinal edges of a slide during the passing of the stub whose width is slightly larger than the width of the slide.

Abstract: A case for the packaging of a product in the form of a solid or semi-solid block includes: a bottom portion defining a receptacle for the solid block, structure or element penetrating into the solid block so as to immobilize the solid block inside the receptacle, a cap removably placed on one surface of the product so as to retain the block in the receptacle, and a lid removably fitted onto the bottom portion so as selectively to open/close the case. This case furthermore includes structure for coupling the lid and the cap so that opening the case by rotating the lid with respect to the bottom portion causes the cap to rotate through a given angle with respect to the product, thus inducing a shearing effect between the internal surface of the cap and the surface of the product.

Abstract: A pressurized container contains a product to be dispensed and a propellant gas. The container includes a closed reservoir, a cylindrical neck, a dispensing head mounted on the neck and a safety device. The safety device can prevent an accidental excess pressure inside the container and includes an annular resilient retaining mechanism that surrounds the neck. The annular resilient retaining mechanism is capable of tightly gripping the dispensing head on the neck in a leakproof manner when an internal pressure of the reservoir is below a predetermined value. The annular resilient retaining mechanism is further capable of moving the dispensing head away from the neck so as to create a communication between an inside of the container and atmosphere when the internal pressure exceeds the predetermined value.

Abstract: Cosmetic product made in a mold including a concave molding surface forming a base and an upper component including a foam sheet closing off a volume defined by the molding surface. The product is cast in the mold from a fluid cosmetic composition. During molding, the foam sheet is partly impregnated with the fluid composition. After solidifying, the molded product includes a solidified cosmetic composition and the foam sheet, which is bonded to and supports the molded product. The molded product is then removed from the mold and packaged.
