  • Publication number: 20240110301
Abstract: A nanocomposite electrode includes a porous copper substrate, Co3O4 and/or Cu/Co(OH)x nanoparticles electrolytically deposited on the porous copper substrate. Fabricating the nanocomposite electrode includes contacting the porous copper substrate with a solution comprising cobalt, and electrodepositing the cobalt on the porous copper substrate to yield the nanocomposite electrode. Reducing nitrate to ammonia includes contacting the nanocomposite electrode with an aqueous solution comprising nitrate, and electrocatalytically reducing the nitrate to yield ammonia.

  • Publication number: 20230357075
Abstract: A fluorite synthetic stone comprises: (a) a glass matrix comprising Ca, Si and O, and having a predetermined weight ratio of Ca to Si; and (b) CaF2 crystals dispersed in the glass matrix at a concentration of at least about 70 wt.%. A method of making fluorite synthetic stones includes formulating a particulate mixture comprising: CaF2 crystals at a concentration of at least about 70 wt.%; and an excipient having a predetermined weight ratio of Ca to Si. Aggregates are prepared from the particulate mixture. The aggregates are heat treated to form a plurality of fluorite synthetic stones, where each synthetic stone comprises: a glass matrix comprising Ca, Si and O; and CaF2 crystals dispersed in the glass matrix at a concentration of at least about 70 wt.%.

  • Patent number: 11563748
Abstract: Application permissions can be set in a cloud computing environment based on a user's authorization level in the cloud computing environment. For example, a system can determine that a user has a particular authorization level in a cloud computing environment. The system can determine that the user is to have particular permissions for a continuous integration tool by mapping the particular authorization level to the particular permissions. The system can then set a permission setting for the continuous integration tool to limit the user to the particular permissions.

  • Patent number: 11408051
Abstract: There is provided a method for the removal of arsenic from an arsenical bearing sulfides ore, comprising a thermal treatment of arsenical sulfide in the presence of sulfur dioxide, yielding a calcine and a sublimate, the sublimate containing arsenious oxide. The method allows recovering metallic value from an arsenic-bearing metallic sulfides ore, by recovery of the calcine comprising the metallic value of the ore.

  • Publication number: 20220007822
Abstract: A personal emergency notification system which is incorporated into a badge holder or similar item. This allows for a user to have an emergency notification system attached to a badge, keycard, or other similar access pass that a user will otherwise need to have on their person at work or in another specific environment but otherwise is not necessary. Further, the system can have various automatic features when an emergency is detected in the work area, the system may also be able to recognize when the user is on site, near the site (e.g. in a mustering area or rally point), or offsite and safe. These automatic features may also be used during an evacuation drill to obtain valuable data on area evacuation.
