  • Patent number: 9965800
Abstract: The technology may provide display of an electronic representation of physical art in a virtual environment so that a customer may visualize how the physical art would appear in a physical environment. Based on a characteristic of the physical art, a virtual environment in which to display an electronic representation of the physical art may be selected. The electronic representation of the physical art may then be included in the virtual environment for display to a customer. The customer may then electronically purchase the physical art via the virtual environment.

  • Patent number: 9940272
Abstract: A circuit may receive an interrupt associated with a device. The interrupt may be sent by the device via an interrupt line associated with the device. The circuit may send the interrupt associated with the device. The interrupt may be sent via an interrupt line associated with the circuit. The circuit may start a missing interrupt timer, associated with the interrupt, based on sending the interrupt. The missing interrupt timer may be associated with a threshold amount of time by which the interrupt is to be serviced. The circuit may identify, based on the missing interrupt timer, the interrupt as a missing interrupt. The circuit may resend the missing interrupt via the interrupt line associated with the circuit. The missing interrupt may be resent to cause the missing interrupt to be serviced.

  • Publication number: 20170093676
Abstract: An analytics and diagnostic node according to the present disclosure monitors oversubscription and determines flow metrics by receiving mirror command frames from one or more switching nodes. The mirror command frames could correspond to a multiple flows traversing over a connection within a network. The analytics and diagnostic node collects at least one latency metric for each of the flows using timestamps found within the mirror command frames. Based on the latency metrics and timestamps, the analytic diagnostic node determines an average data rate for each of the flows. The analytics and diagnostic node also computes the cumulative data rates corresponding to different bucket intervals based on the average data rates. To detect oversubscription, the analytics and diagnostic node compares the cumulative data rates with one or more oversubscription rules.

  • Patent number: 9507367
Abstract: A dynamic stochastic optimal power flow (DSOPF) control system is described for performing multi-objective optimal control capability in complex electrical power systems. The DSOPF system and method replaces the traditional adaptive critic designs (ACDs) and secondary voltage control, and provides a coordinated AC power flow control solution to the smart grid operation in an environment with high short-term uncertainty and variability. The DSOPF system and method is used to provide nonlinear optimal control, where the control objective is explicitly formulated to incorporate power system economy, stability and security considerations. The system and method dynamically drives a power system to its optimal operating point by continuously adjusting the steady-state set points sent by a traditional optimal power flow algorithm.

  • Patent number: 9449250
Abstract: Techniques for providing an image download protection may be provided. In particular, an original image may be protected from being downloaded by providing a substitute image in its place, identified by a plurality of layers that are configured to look substantially similar to the original image. However, when a user device attempts to quickly store the image (e.g., by right-clicking on the image and selecting “save”), the user device can be hindered from downloading the substantially similar looking image because only one layer may be stored on the user device. In some examples, the layer of the image looks substantially distinct from the original image, but the layer in combination with a plurality of other layers can look substantially similar to the original image.

  • Publication number: 20160267214
Abstract: Clock tree design methods for ultra-wide voltage range circuits are disclosed. In one aspect, place and route software creates an integrated circuit (IC) in an optimal configuration at a first voltage condition. A first clock tree is created as part of the place and route process. Clock skew for the first clock tree is evaluated and minimized through insertion of bypassable delay elements. The delay elements are then removed from the wiring routing diagram. A second voltage condition is identified, and clock tree generation software is allowed to optimize the wiring routing diagram for the second voltage condition. The second clock tree generation software may insert more bypassable delay elements into the wiring routing diagram that allow clock skew optimization at the second voltage condition. The initial bypassable delay elements are then reinserted into the wiring routing diagram and a finished IC is established.
