    Abstract: In one aspect of the invention, a semiconductor packaging apparatus is provided and comprises: a bonding device for bonding a component to a substrate; a motor for driving the bonding device to operate according to a predetermined motion trajectory; a position sensor for detecting a position of the bonding device at a specific time point and generating a position signal; a motion control unit comprising a path planner for generating a position-time command for the bonding device according to a bonding process requirement, the motion control unit being configured to enable the path planner to update the position-time command based on a touch information between the component and the substrate. In a further aspect of the invention, a control algorithm for the semiconductor packaging apparatus to identify and generate the touch information is also provided, and the process control flow is optimized using the touch information.

The flexible external gear is an annular component having external teeth and configured on an inner side of the rigid internal gear. The wave generator is configured on an inner side of the flexible external gear and flexes the flexible external gear. The harmonic gear device is configured to deform the flexible external gear along with the rotation of the wave generator with the rotation shaft as a center, so that some of the external teeth mesh with some of the internal teeth. The flexible external gear thus rotates relative to the rigid internal gear according to the difference in the number of teeth between the flexible external gear and the rigid internal gear.

    Abstract: A boost converter has a main energy storage inductor and a main GaN boost switch with a node between them. A pre-charging switch is connected at the output side of the main boost switch and the inductor, between the node and an output capacitor. The pre-charging switch comprises a body diode in the forward direction from the output capacitor to the node. The output capacitor is charged by the pre-charging switch in a pre-charge phase and this provides a soft start-up to avoid large inrush currents. A third switch, which is also a GaN switch, is in series with the pre-charging switch to provide synchronous output rectification. The third switch has a body diode in a forward direction from the node to the output capacitor. In the pre-charge phase, both the boost switch and third switch are turned off whereas in a subsequent boost phase, the pre-charging switch is turned constantly on, and alternately the boost switch and the third switch are turned on and off to implement the boost conversion.

A bearings-only target tracking algorithm based on pseudo-linear maximum correlation entropy Kalman filtering is also proposed. The invention combines the maximum correlation entropy theory with pseudo-linear Kalman filtering, and the target tracking accuracy is higher and divergence can be avoided when working in a non-Gaussian environment.
