  • Publication number: 20230048770
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a radio frequency phase shifter. An example includes an amplification stage to produce an amplified voltage, the amplification stage having a first amplifier with a first input coupled to a first output of a hybrid coupler and a second amplifier with a complementary second input coupled to a complementary second output of the hybrid coupler. A vector modulation stage coupled to the amplification stage receives the amplified voltage and produces a modulated vector, the vector modulation stage has an in-phase section and a quadrature section to control the phase of the modulated vector in response to a phase control signal. A varactor coupled across the first input and the second input of the amplification stage adjusts the capacitance between the first input and the second input in response to a capacitance control signal.

  • Patent number: 11556560
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to processing operations configured for intelligent management of a synchronization interval usable to synchronize data for an application/service between local data storage and distributed data storage. A classification prediction for a synchronization interval may be generated that is used as prediction for modifying the synchronization interval when a plurality of computing devices, linked to one or more user accounts, are used to access content. For instance, a suggestion is made as to whether a synchronization interval should be made faster, slower or even remain unchanged when a user account is accessing content. This may occur based on analysis of contextual factors described herein, thereby enabling a synchronization prediction component to make a best possible prediction for setting a synchronization interval. Artificial intelligence processing may be trained to generate the classification prediction for a synchronization interval.

  • Publication number: 20220404957
Abstract: Technology is described herein for facilitating a user's interaction with a digital ink document. The technology internally represents the ink document using a data structure having a hierarchy of nodes. The nodes describe respective elements in the ink document. The technology leverages the data structure to identify a set of nodes that grows upon the user's repeated selection of a particular part of the ink document. At each stage of the selection, the technology highlights a set of elements in the ink document that correspond to the current set of identified nodes. According to another illustrative aspect, the technology produces the data structure by modifying an original data structure provided by a text analysis engine. The technology performs this task with the objective of accommodating structured interaction by the user with the ink document.

  • Publication number: 20220400943
Abstract: System for customizing visual field (VF) tests uses a machine learning model (15) trained on retina images (12A, 12C, 12D), including optical coherence tomography (OCT), optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA), fundus, and/or fluorescein angiography images. In operation, in preparation for administering a specific VF test (13) to a patient, a retina image of the patient is submitted to the present machine model, which responds by synthesizing a VF prediction for the patient. The synthesized VF may be used to optimize the specific VF test prior to administering it to the patient.

  • Patent number: 11478051
Abstract: A self-locking latch assembly for a two-piece container is provided. The latch assembly has a latch hook pivotably biased in a parallel orientation to the first piece of the two-piece container, while a keeper is connected though spaced apart from the surface of the second piece of the two-piece container. The two-piece container is adapted to move between an open and closed position by sliding an open end of the larger piece over an open end of a smaller piece. During this sliding action, toward the closed position, a tapered edge of the latch hook strikes the keeper and is urged upward until the tapered edge ends, whereby the biasing of the latch hook urges it to engage the keeper in a locked condition. To unlock the latch hook, one can pivot it to a nonparallel orientation and slide the two pieces apart.

  • Patent number: 11421384
Abstract: Provided are tissue webs and products that have a modest degree of surface texture, but are still soft. In certain instances the tissue products and webs may also have good sheet bulk and low stiffness. For example, the tissue products may have good softness, such as a TS7 value (measured using the EMTEC Tissue Softness Analyzer) less than 11.0, and a textured surface, such as an R2 value from about 11,000 to about 20,000 (measured using an OpTiSurf tester). The foregoing tissue products may have a sheet bulk greater than about 8.0 cc/g and a Stiffness Index less than about 15.0. In certain instances the tissue product and webs may be through-air dried and may be either creped or uncreped.
