Abstract: A method and system for organizing and displaying information about Internet Web pages on Web maps are disclosed. Web maps display a summary of the information that a Web page provides access to, in a format that facilitates a rapid assessment of what may be accessed through a Web site's home page, or through any Web page on the Web site. Preferably, Web maps are displayed on a Web page, or within a frame of a Web page, by an Internet browser application. A set of Web maps may be automatically generated by a search engine or directory in response to a user's search request. Alternatively, a user may request that a Web map be produced for a particular Web page of interest. The Web maps are preferably generated by a Web server, or by an application running in the background of a user's computer, so that the user may perform other tasks on the user's computer while the Web maps are being generated.

Abstract: An aircraft, gas turbine engine, controller and trim system for neutralizing pitching moments caused by power changes and consequent changes in engine thrust. Several expedients are disclosed, utilizing either thrust vectoring or automatic aircraft trim augmentation in response to thrust variations, made either by throttle setting changes caused by a pilot or a flight management control (FMC)/autopilot system.

Abstract: A method and computer program product for receiving an indication of a meeting being scheduled between a plurality of attendees. At least one of the attendees is designated a moderator of the meeting. The actions of the designated moderator are monitored to determine if the designated moderator is capable of performing one or more moderator responsibilities associated with being the designated moderator. If it is determined that the designated moderator is incapable of performing the one or more moderator responsibilities, an alternate moderator chosen from the plurality of attendees is designated.

Abstract: A closure assembly for a container including an internally-threaded annular flange, an externally-threaded closure plug that is received by the annular flange, and an annular gasket positioned between the annular flange and the closure plug for establishing a sealed interface. The container includes a container end panel that is formed over and around a portion of the annular flange and provides an inner axial wall that is positioned between the annular flange and the annular gasket. The clearance between the closing plug and the inner axial wall relative to the size of the annular gasket determines the degree of radial compression of the annular gasket as the plug is threaded into the flange. A radial lip of the plug is designed to contact an upper surface of the container end panel that is formed over the flange as a visual indication when the required tightening torque of the plug within the flange has been reached.

Abstract: The present invention provides a faulty disk copy utility. A method for copying files in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes: obtaining a list of files to be copied from a first location to a second location; initiating copying of a file from the list; logging an identifier of the file in a log file if an error occurs during the copying; and repeating the copying and logging for each file in the list of files; wherein the copying of the files from the list does not end if an error occurs during the copying.

Abstract: An optoelectronic transceiver module. The optoelectronic module is a monolithic, one-piece module shell that includes a top portion, a bottom portion, a first side portion, a second side portion, and a front portion. The top portion, bottom portion, first side portion, second side portion and the front portion define a cavity configured to enclose electro-optical circuitry. In addition, the top portion and the bottom portion are configured such that the top portion is not separable from the bottom portion. Further, the front portion defines at least one of an optical transmit port or an optical receive port.

Abstract: Increasing a number of advertising impressions in a system configured to facilitate user interaction with an interactive environment containing one or more advertising targets is described. A scene of a portion of the simulated environment is displayed from a camera point of view (camera POV) on a video display. The scene may change as the camera POV changes in response to movement of the camera POV along a camera path during the user's interaction with the simulated environment. By adding movement to the camera path that directs the camera POV toward one or more advertising targets encountered along the camera path advertising targets may be placed within the scene displayed on the video display to increase a likelihood a number of advertising impressions associated with the advertising targets.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to process cheese type products prepared with calcium-reduced ingredients but without emulsifying salts and methods of producing such process cheese type products without emulsifying salts. The process cheeses of the present invention are advantageously resistant to separation during heating and retain desirable organoleptic properties, such as texture, without using emulsifying salts. The process cheeses of the present invention are also lower in sodium than conventional produces cheese products.

Abstract: Wish list creation and population is provided where users can associate one or more images as items in a wish list. To this end, an image can be provided, such as a photograph taken by the user, and analyzed to locate matching items and information related thereto. In this regard, the user can observe and desire to purchase an item without knowledge of specifics about the item. The user can then take a picture of the item and tag the picture for upload to their wish list. Matching can be provided to identify one or more items in the picture to facilitate retrieval of information related to the items. Also, items can be selected based on discerned characteristics of the picture in a design/fashion consultant context.

Abstract: An embodiment of a multiprocessor computer system comprises main memory, a remote processor capable of accessing the main memory, a remote cache device operative to store accesses by said remote processor to said main memory, and a filter tag cache device associated with the main memory. The filter cache device is operative to store information relating to remote ownership of data in the main memory including ownership by the remote processor. The filter cache device is operative to selectively invalidate filter tag cache entries when space is required in the filter tag cache device for new cache entries. The remote cache device is responsive to events indicating that a cache entry has low value to the remote processor to send a hint to the filter tag cache device. The filter tag cache device is responsive to a hint in selecting a filter tag cache entry to invalidate.

Abstract: A method to join pipe is disclosed using a curable one or two part adhesive composition comprising an effective amount of a boron containing initiator compound such as an organoborate, a stabilized organoborane complex, or combinations thereof; one or more monomers, oligomers, polymers or mixtures thereof having olefinic unsaturation which is capable of polymerization by free radical polymerization; and optionally a decomplexing agent. An especially preferred organoborane is one where a tertiary or quaternary nitrogen atom is bonded to the organoborane to prepare an amido-borate. In those embodiments where the nitrogen is quaternary, the quaternary nitrogen portion of the amido-borate is the cationic counter ion for the borate anion portion of the compound to which the quaternary nitrogen atom is bonded.
