Abstract: Systems and methods for improved power profiling of embedded applications are presented. These inventions provide the ability to unobtrusively measure the power consumption of an embedded application as the application is executing on its target hardware. The unobtrusiveness is achieved by using programmable emulation circuitry in the target system processor and available device debug terminals on the test port.

Abstract: A cosmetic accessory clasp includes two or more clips for holding longitudinally extending articles. For example, the clasp accommodates both a lipstick barrel and a lip liner pencil. The clasp includes two or more open clips, such as an open clip having attached at the closed portion thereof a smaller clip adjacent to the larger clip. The larger lipstick barrel is inserted by the spring action of the larger clip and the lip liner pencil is insertable in the smaller clip adjacent to the larger clip. The clasp may hold other related longitudinally extending articles, such as eyebrow pencils and the like.

Abstract: A sheet material collating apparatus includes a conveyor and a plurality of hoppers which hold sheet material articles. Feed drums are operable to sequentially feed sheet material articles from each of the hoppers to sheet material receiving locations on the conveyor. Each of a plurality of feed drum drive systems includes a transmission which is operable to drive a feed drum at either a first speed or a second speed which is greater than the first speed. A control system for the transmissions may include a detector which is operable to detect when a pusher element in the conveyor is at predetermined location relative to a feed drum by detecting either the pusher element itself or the trailing edge of a sheet material article being pushed by the pusher element. A signal generator, such as an encoder or pulse generator, may be used to indicate the position of a pusher element in the conveyor relative to the feed drums.

Abstract: Rotating nozzles in a cylinder comprise a hand washing system that through a program provides purge, wash, dwell, rinse and self clean cycles. In ten seconds 99% of bacteria are killed without hand irritation even with multiple hand washes daily.

Abstract: A variable power hunting scope has an objective, an eyepiece, and a barrel therebetween. The barrel carries a reticle, a zoom assembly, a vertical cross-hair, a horizontal cross-hair, vertical and horizontal posts, and an adjusting ring for altering the scope magnification. A locking mechanism interferes with rotation of the adjusting ring at a desired maximum magnification setting, the desired maximum magnification setting being between the minimum and maximum magnifications of the scope.

Abstract: A heater for cups and fluids therein having an adjustable heat selector, heating circuitry and temperature stabilization circuitry, comprising a base support, an electrical circuit enclosing housing, an opening in an upper substantially horizontal surface of the housing for a heating element plate and heat sensor, and an upright section of the housing enclosing additional circuitry having a vertical, substantially cylindrical surface facing the heating element plate, substantially rectangular vertical surfaces for the remaining three sides of the upright section, the vertical substantially cylindrical surface and the substantially rectangular vertical surfaces forming an open-topped receptacle having inner partitions and a closed bottom for receiving assorted personal articles.
