    Abstract: A User Lift Exercise Apparatus is provided which has a base frame member with a seat support member coupled thereon which moves in the upward and downward directions. The apparatus also has a user engagement member which pivotally mounts to the front of the base frame member. The back portion of the user engagement member is coupled to the seat support member. The user engages the front portion of the user engagement member with their thighs and pivots this front portion in the downward direction, which produces upward movement in the back portion and thus in the seat support member. The opposite movement is also true. This allows the user to perform exercise routines on the lower body muscles areas while in a relatively seated position. Handle members may also be part of the apparatus.

The optional Resistance Member provides resistance in the twisting motion of the Foot Engagement Member, and thus also in the upward and downward movements of the Foot Support Members.

The support connection member is for adjustably connecting the knee support member and the foot support member together to allow the apparatus to be easily adjusted for different user leg lengths. The heat transfer member operatively attaches to the knee support member and to the foot support member for providing heat therapy to both the knee and foot parts of the body.

The user operates the apparatus by positioning themselves upon the user support member and engaging with their body the portion of the spherical roller which extends through the opening. The vertical position of the spherical roller may be adjusted, and the frame structure itself may be collapsible for storage.

The center member also has opening members through which a Hand Engagement Member is coupled so that it may be moved towards and away from the center member. The Hand Engagement Member has a generally horizontal handle member which is positioned above the center member of the Paint Protector Member. Mounted on each end of the handle member are support members which extend downward through the opening members located on the center member of the Paint Protector Member. A spring member is also included as part of the Hand Engagement Member which provides resistance to the movement of the Hand Engagement Member in the downward direction.
