Abstract: The computer associated with each of a potentially large number of end users is harnessed to provide a massively-distributed mechanism for finding the nearest neighbors of each user, according to tastes and/or interests. Once these nearest neighbors are determined, there taste or and/or interest profiles are leveraged for highly accurate recommendations, and their online addresses are leveraged for community purposes.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a method, apparatus, and article of manufacture define an analysis window for a dimensional model in accordance with a window template and a starting point. One or more aggregate definitions are produced based on the analysis window. In another embodiment, the dimensional model comprises a time dimension, and the window template is associated with the time dimension. In yet another embodiment, the starting point is changed to a new starting point, and a new analysis window is defined using the new starting point.

Abstract: A cleaning and sanitizing wipe, comprising a porous or absorbent sheet which has been infused with a cleaning and antimicrobial composition. The cleaning and antimicrobial composition contains a phenolic antimicrobial agent, an anionic surfactant, a hydric solvent, and water. Optionally, the cleaning and antimicrobial composition used in the wipes may contain a preservative, fragrance, and additional moisturizers. The pH of the cleaning and sanitizing wipes is preferably about 5.3 to about 6.5.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer products that efficiently determine useful dimensions associated with a database when employing OLAP processing techniques. The present invention enables a user to see at a glance in which queries certain columns and tables are used. The present invention may be implemented with a query miner module that may include a query browser module that improves browsing through queries and their components over the past. The preferred embodiment of the present invention provides an easy to use graphical interface showing the queries, tables, and columns in a tree structure. Further, the preferred embodiment of the present invention presents information about relationships and dimensions associated with a database and about columns, tables, and queries to the user without discernable lag time between the user's request and the generated information.

Abstract: A surfactant-free, alcohol-free, water based antimicrobial composition comprising a dissolved phenolic antimicrobial agent, such as chloroxylenol (“PCMX”), and with a pH range between 5.5 to 6.5. The dissolved phenolic antimicrobial agent is able to achieve a high level of antimicrobial activity despite being present at a low percent concentration. Other ingredients include a glycol, glycerin, a neutralizing agent, a preservative, an acrylic polymer, a polysaccharide polymer, and deionized water. Optional ingredients include fragrance, additional moisturizers, and a pH adjuster. The process for formulating the antimicrobial composition utilizes an anhydrous water soluble solvent complex to dissolve the phenolic antimicrobial agent.

The time periods begin and end on overall start and end times of scheduled events. In preferred embodiments the method creates the data structure by collapsing together master schedules for a plurality of resources. The method may create the master schedules by collapsing together mini-schedules of different priorities. The method can produce a minimal list of sets of concurrent events that will occur according to a universal master schedule in a form suitable for processing by an automatic validation system.

Abstract: The application relates to a system and method for identification of parts. In one preferred embodiment the invention is used for the identification of machined parts such as those used in automobiles, and other relatively complex machinery. The system includes a scalable database of identification data sets. Each data set is descriptive of an item and comprises information that aid in identifying the item including data relating to a numbering scheme, a family category, picture files depicting the item, and identification criteria defined from the family category. The system presents an input screen having a plurality of input boxes to a user display screen, including input boxes for input of a number scheme and a family wizard. Upon receiving user input from an input device, the system retrieves at least one data set descriptive of an item from the database based upon input received.

Abstract: A plurality of users are able to review items as raters and provide ratings for the reviewed items. In aggregating the rating values to provide a resolved rating value for the item, the prescience of the raters is evaluated. By establishing levels of reliability of the raters, it is possible to improve the relevance of the resolved rating values and to reward those providing highly reliable ratings.

Abstract: A network-based computer system that organizes representations of information provided by users known as Deeds, wherein Deeds represent different versions of the same document, which includes communication such that a Topic may have a plurality of associated Deeds. The system provides a plurality of users with the ability to rate Deeds, at any point in time. One Deed associated with a given Topic is considered to be the Current Best. The system makes the Current Best more readily viewable than other Deeds associated with the Topic. The system combines expressions of opinion of a plurality of users to determine the Current Best.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a compound for preventing snoring. Essentially, the compound includes various natural oils such as almond oil, olive oil, sunflower oil, and peppermint oil, which serve to lubricate the soft tissue including the uvula and soft palette during sleep. In that manner, the oils dampen the friction of the soft tissue and diminish the noise associated with snoring. The present anti-snoring compound also includes a magnesium-based compound, which helps the oils cling to the soft tissue. If desired, vitamins B6, C and E are also included in the formulation of the present anti-snoring composition, primarily for the health benefit derived from them.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and article of manufacture for using a relational database management system to support on-line analytical processing (OLAP) systems. A multi-dimensional database is defined having a set of multi-dimensional data blocks and a set of identifiers comprising selected dimensions of multi-dimensional data for identifying particular ones of the multi-dimensional data blocks. The set of identifiers provides an ordering of the multi-dimensional data blocks using multi-dimensional member identifiers and holds usage information and age information about the multi-dimensional data blocks. The data in the set of multi-dimensional data blocks is stored in a relational database that represents the multi-dimensional database. Then, a set of rows representing a multi-dimensional data block is accessed from the relational database.
