    Abstract: A ride vehicle that is configured to support a rider down a non-wet lubricated recreational slide is provided. The ride vehicle includes an elongate body with a flexible central core positioned between a top surface of the ride vehicle and at least one layer that includes one or more projections. The top surface may include at least on handle for gripping by a rider. The at least one layer forms a bottom surface of the ride vehicle that is configured to contact the non-wet lubricated recreational slide. A coefficient of friction between the at least one layer of the ride vehicle and the non-wet lubricated slide surface is within a range of between about 0.03 to about 0.2.

In particular, the slide body defines a slide surface that is non-wet lubricated over which a rider is configured to travel as the slide is rotated. The recreational slide system includes at least one drive that is operatively coupled to the slide. The at least one drive is configured to rotate the slide about the rotational axis.

    Abstract: An airbag landing device for absorbing an impact of a falling object is disclosed. The airbag landing device includes an inflatable base structure with at least one inflatable closed-cell chamber configured to hold a first fill volume of gas and an inflatable top structure disposed vertically on top of the inflatable base structure. The inflatable top structure includes a central, external chamber, and at least one inflatable open-cell chamber that is configured to sustain a second fill volume of gas. The airbag landing device includes a top cover over the inflatable top structure. The top cover overlays the central chamber to form an air pocket therebetween. At impact, the inflatable top structure exhausts a volume of gas from the air pocket and from the open-cell chamber of the inflatable top structure while the first fill volume of the at least one inflatable closed-cell chamber is maintained.

    Abstract: A dry lubricant composition for a slide surface of a recreational slide is disclosed. The dry lubricant composition includes a resin, a lubricant, a thermal conductor, and a hardener. The resin may comprise a silicon or PTFE based Epoxy. The dry lubricant composition is configured to be applied to the slide surface to form a dry lubricant coating thereon. The resultant coefficient of friction between the dry lubricant coating and a ride vehicle for use with the slide is within a range of between about 0.03 to about 0.2.
