  • Patent number: 11667255
Abstract: A safety bumper assembly for a vehicle shutting off a vehicle engine when the vehicle hits an obstacle, particularly an autonomous vehicle used for agricultural purposes. The assembly includes bumper shafts holding a bumper bar at a distance from a support structure of the vehicle and shuts off the vehicle engine in such fashion that the vehicle comes to a full stop before the bumper has reached its most inward position closer to the vehicle body. A vehicle equipped with the safety bumper assembly has vehicle frame integrating a support structure of the safety bumper assembly.

  • Publication number: 20220283582
Abstract: An autonomous vehicle safety system, a method of operating the same and an autonomous vehicle equipped with the autonomous vehicle safety system. An autonomous vehicle Bluetooth receiver is connected in a signal transmitting fashion to the engine control unit of an autonomous vehicle. Upon receiving a signal from a remote Bluetooth transmitter at a predefined proximity distance between the transmitter and the receiver, a microcontroller connected to the receiver actuates a relay switch disabling the engine control unit. The engine control unit may then also engage the vehicle breaks, lock the steering in place, and only after not receiving a proximal Bluetooth signal for a particular time span, enable again the autonomous vehicle operating mode.

  • Patent number: 10004697
Abstract: A composition and method are disclosed for optimizing sperm survival and function for couples suffering from male infertility by stimulating and increasing the female sexual partner's vaginal lubrication. An increased amount of vaginal transudate is produced in the female by the topical vulval application of a composition containing menthol or a related cooling compound. The resulting increased amount of vaginal transudate can support the function and viability of the spermatozoa in the hostile vaginal environment and ultimately in the cervical mucus to both capacitate sperm in vivo and to provide a medium for gradient sperm differentiation in the vagina and cervix. The inventive composition and method provides a means to compensate for male infertility caused by abnormal semen quality in order for a couple to successfully achieve conception.

  • Patent number: 8490218
Abstract: The improved bed sock is a sock specifically designed to be worn on a front half of the foot, which includes varying densities of elasticity throughout a fabric layer. The improved bed sock extends across the toes and down the front part of the Metatarsus, but of which does not extend to the Instep. The improved bed sock includes a specific region of elastic concentration just behind the ball of the foot (the widest part) that aids in maintaining the improved bed sock upon the front foot despite movement of foot while under covers. The improved bed sock is removed while in bed by use of a toe from an opposing foot without requiring the end user to sit up or get out of bed. The improved bed sock keeps the toes warm, but the rear portion of the foot cool.
