A threaded actuator is rotationally operated by the drive assembly. An actuator arm extends between the carriage and the transmission selector to translate linear operation of the carriage to rotational operation of the transmission selector.

    Abstract: A system and a method is provided for assessing motion of a biological tissue of a subject including one or more superficial biological layers and a targeted biological layer. A perturbation unit provide an optical perturbation to the one or more superficial biological layers. An optical signal generator transmits optical signals at one or more near-infrared wavelengths. An optical signal receiver acquires a set of optical signal data preceding, during, or following the optical perturbation at a first acquisition time relative to the optical perturbation. A signal processor determines, using the set of optical signal data, a set of optical characteristics and separates, using the set of optical characteristics, a target optical signal. The signal processor generates a report indicative of a movement of the targeted biological tissue within the subject. The movement of the targeted biological layer is calculated using the target optical signal.

    Abstract: Provided herein are hydrogel-hydrocolloid sealant compositions for use as soft-tissue sealants. The compositions can include a cross-linkable electrophilic component; a cross-linkable nucleophilic component; a swellable filler material including gelatin; and, a buffer having a pH in the range of about 9.0 to about 10.0. The compositions can have a first fluid state and a second crosslinked state, and in the crosslinked state, the electrophilic and nucleophilic components can crosslink to form a crosslinked hydrogel network where the swellable filler material including gelatin is disposed within the crosslinked network. Also provided are systems and methods of manufacturing the sealant compositions as well as methods of repairing soft tissue defects including applying the sealant compositions disclosed herein.

The method further includes sending the optical configuration from the second camera to the first camera and adjusting a configuration of the first camera based on the optical configuration. The method further includes capturing a second image with the first camera. The first image and the second image may be preview images.

The memory comprises instructions that when executed implement an autofocus program configured to automatically determine the distance based on: 1) image data captured by said camera module; and 2) the orientation information generated by the accelerometer.
