  • Patent number: 11375451
Abstract: The full efficiency gains of the Target Wake Time (TWT) mechanism specified in the 802.11ax standard may not be realized when stations associated to an access point (AP) are spread across multiple Base Station Service Identifiers (BSSIDs). In such a scenario, TWT as conventionally utilized/specified in the 802.11ax standard, cannot properly coordinate sleep/wake schedules for stations due to associating to different BSSIDs. Accordingly, various embodiments are directed to grouping stations associated to multiple BSSIDs of an AP to allow for the synchronization (or staggering) of TWT, and facilitate multi-user transmissions, both in the uplink and downlink directions.

  • Patent number: 11374574
Abstract: A new class of logic gates are presented that use non-linear polar material. The logic gates include multi-input majority gates and threshold gates. Input signals in the form of analog, digital, or combination of them are driven to first terminals of non-ferroelectric capacitors. The second terminals of the non-ferroelectric capacitors are coupled to form a majority node. Majority function of the input signals occurs on this node. The majority node is then coupled to a first terminal of a capacitor comprising non-linear polar material. The second terminal of the capacitor provides the output of the logic gate, which can be driven by any suitable logic gate such as a buffer, inverter, NAND gate, NOR gate, etc. Any suitable logic or analog circuit can drive the output and inputs of the majority logic gate. As such, the majority gate of various embodiments can be combined with existing transistor technologies.

  • Publication number: 20220201785
Abstract: Some embodiments include utilizing a multilink media access control (MAC) address structure to support multilink devices (MLDs) that can operate concurrently in more than one link such as extremely high throughput (EHT) access points (APs) and EHT stations (STA), where the multilink MAC address structure is compatible with legacy devices. An EHT AP can utilize a multilink basic service set (BSS) identification (BSSID) MAC address to communicate with an EHT STA identified by a multilink MAC address. Values of the multilink BSSID and the multilink MAC address of the EHT STA are independent of which of the multiple links are used in the communication. In addition, to utilizing a multilink BSSID, the EHT AP can also support unique link-specific MAC addresses to concurrently support legacy and MLD stations. The EHT STA can also utilize unique link-specific MAC addresses that can be different than the EHT AP's link-specific MAC addresses.

  • Publication number: 20220200600
Abstract: A new class of multiplier cells (analog or digital) is derived from a 1-bit full adder and an AND gate. The 1-bit full adder is derived from first and second majority gates. The multiplier cell can also be implemented with a combination of two majority gates with majority and AND functions integrated in each of them. The two majority gates are coupled. Each of the first and second majority logic gates comprise a capacitor with non-linear polar material. The first and second majority gates receive the two inputs A and B that are to be multiplied. Other inputs received by the first and second majority gates are carry-in input, a sum-in input, and a bias voltage. The bias voltage is a negative voltage, which produces an integrated AND function in conjunction with a majority function. The second majority gate receives additional inputs, which are inverted output of the first majority gate.

  • Publication number: 20220196733
Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms for providing performance monitoring information. In an embodiment, a performance monitor circuit receives a communication which indicates a format comprising multiple fields which are each to store a respective count of monitored events. A programming of the performance monitor circuit, based on the communication, designates first bits and second bits of the register to provide, respectively, a first first field and a second field according to the format. Performance monitoring subsequent to the programming successively tallies a first count of first events which occur during a first period of time, and a second count of second events which occur during a second period of time. In another embodiment, performance monitoring results in the register concurrently storing both the first count and the second count.

  • Patent number: 11367029
Abstract: A system and method are presented for adaptive skill level assignments of agents in contact center environments. A client and a service collaborate to automatically determine the effectiveness of an agent handling an interaction that has been routed using skills-based routing. Evaluation operations may be performed including emotion detection, transcription of audio to text, keyword analysis, and sentiment analysis. The results of the evaluation are aggregated with other information such as the interaction's duration, agent skills and agent skill levels, and call requirement skills and skill levels, to update the agent's profile which is then used for subsequent routing operations.

  • Patent number: 11366670
Abstract: A predictive queue control and allocation system includes a queue and a queue control server communicatively coupled to the queue. The queue includes a first and second allocation of queue locations. The queue stores a plurality of resources. The queue control server includes an interface and a queue control engine implemented by a processor. The interface monitors the plurality of resources before the plurality of resources are stored in the queue. The queue control engine predicts that one or more conditions indicate that a queue overflow will occur in the first allocation of queue locations. The queue control engine prioritizes the plurality of resources being received by the queue. The queue control engine may apply a machine learning technique to the plurality of resources. The queue control engine transfers the plurality of resources prioritized by the machine learning technique.

  • Publication number: 20220189806
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for estimating heights of defects in a wafer. The method comprises creating an un-calibrated 3D model of a defect in a wafer, determining one or more attributes associated with the un-calibrated 3D model, transforming the un-calibrated 3D model to a calibrated 3D model, and estimating a height of the defect using the calibrated 3D model. Creating an un-calibrated 3D model corresponds to a defect present in a wafer based on a plurality of Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) images of the defect. Transforming the un-calibrated 3D model to a calibrated 3D model uses a scaling factor corresponding to the determined one or more attributes associated with the un-calibrated 3D model. A height of the defect is estimated based on the calibrated 3D model of the defect.
