Abstract: A system for monitoring an electrical device and a method thereof is provided, wherein at least one primary unit is connected with an input side and/or an output side of the electrical device and configured to obtain electrical parameters of the electrical device. A secondary unit is connected with each primary unit and configured to receive the electrical parameters obtained by the primary unit, store the electrical parameters to form a repository of previously obtained electrical parameters, compare the electrical parameters with previously obtained electrical parameters to determine any deviation in the electrical parameters and correlate the deviation in electrical parameters with a list of impending faults to identify any impending fault. The secondary unit based upon the correlation of the electrical parameters generates a summary and/or alert indicative of state of the electrical device by way of alerts, notifications etc.

Abstract: A system and method of automated speech recognition using a dynamically-adjustable listening timeout. The method includes: receiving speech signals representing a first speech segment during a first speech listening period; during the first speech listening period, processing the received speech signals representing the first speech segment to determine whether the first speech segment includes one or more insignificant utterances; adjusting a listening timeout in response to the determination of whether the first speech segment includes one or more insignificant utterances; listening for subsequent received speech using the adjusted listening timeout; and performing automatic speech recognition on the received speech signals and/or the subsequently received speech signals.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus include computer programs encoded on a computer-readable storage medium, including a method for providing content. A search query is received. Search results responsive to the query are identified, including identifying a first search result in a top set of search results that is associated with a brand. Based at least in part on the query, one or more eligible content items are identified for delivery along with the search results responsive to the query. A determination is made as to when at least one of the eligible content items is associated with a same brand as the brand associated with the first search result. The first search result and one of the determined at least one eligible content items are combined into a combined content item and providing the combined content item as a search result responsive to the request.

Abstract: An effective way for the cellular device-to-device communication and the short range communication to share a set of channels for communication is desired. The apparatus may be a user equipment (UE). The apparatus determines a priority level of each channel of a plurality of channels. The apparatus determines whether a first channel of the plurality of channels, the first channel having a highest priority level, is occupied by short range wireless communication. If the first channel is occupied by the short range wireless communication, the apparatus determines availability of one or more remaining channels of the plurality of channels for a cellular device-to-device (D2D) communication, where the one or more remaining channels are different from the first channel.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a memory and a hardware processor. The memory stores one or more scheduling histories. The processor receives a first list from a first client device and a second list from a second client device. The first list includes a first job and the second list includes a second job. The processor calculates a first resource requirement to execute the first job and a second resource requirement to execute the second job. The processor determines that a conflict exists between the first job and the second job and in response, communicates messages to the first and second client devices indicating the conflict and proposed times for executing the jobs. The processor determines based on responses to the messages, execution times for the first and second jobs, assigns permission identifiers to the first and second jobs, and communicates a schedule.

Abstract: A composition and process for the manufacture thereof for use in a hybrid building material comprising at least in part Syngenite (K2Ca(SO4)2.H2O) and Struvite-K (KMgPO4·6H2O). Specified constituents, including magnesium oxide (MgO), monopotassium phosphate (MKP) and stucco (calcium sulfate hemihydrate) are mixed in predetermined ratios and the reaction proceeds through multiple phases reactions which at times are proceeding simultaneously and in parallel and reaction may even compete with each other for reagents if the Struvite-K reaction is not buffered to slow down the reaction rate). A number of variable factors, such as water temperature, pH mixing times and rates, have been found to affect resultant reaction products. Preferred ratios of chemical constituents and manufacturing parameters, including predetermined and specified ratios of Struvite-K and Syngenite may be provided for specified purposes, optimized in respect of stoichiometry to reduce the combined heat of formation to non-destructive levels.

Abstract: Methods and systems are directed to detection and correction of outliers in a dataset stored in a data-storage device. The dataset comprises parameter data that may be stored and organized in the form of a data table with rows and columns of parameter values. Each column of the parameter data is searched for outlier parameter values based on the parameters values in the same column. The parameter data as a whole may be searched for outlier rows of parameter values based on first and second largest variations in the parameter data. Substitute parameter values are determined for the outlier parameter values based on non-outlier parameter values of the parameter data. The substitute parameter values and corresponding outlier parameter values may be displayed in a database management user interface that enables a user to selectively accept or reject each of the substitute parameter values for the corresponding outlier parameter values.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a technique for reduction of latency in network traffic data transmissions. The system parses an online document to determine a messaging identifier used to communicate over an asynchronous network-based communication channel with a content provider device. The system assembles a first instance of the online content item with the messaging identifier. An intermediary appliance located on the asynchronous network-based communication channel in between the first computing device and the content provider device intercepts data packets including the electronic message The system determines a quality of the asynchronous network-based communication channel. The system blocks insertion of the messaging identifier in a second instance of the online content item prior to transmission of the second instance of the online content item to a second computing device to reduce latency by preventing additional messages from being sent to the messaging identifier.

Abstract: The disclosure includes embodiments for performing beam alignment for non-line of sight (NLOS) scenarios. The method includes receiving, at a first vehicle, one or more wireless messages that include vehicle data, wherein the vehicle data describes a second vehicle position, a second vehicle speed, and a second vehicle heading. The method also includes determining sensor data. The method also includes determining an NLOS path based on the vehicle data and the sensor data so that the NLOS path avoids a potential blockage. The method also includes determining whether the NLOS path is predicted to succeed based on a beam transmission percentage satisfying a threshold percentage. The method also includes responsive to the NLOS path being predicted to succeed, performing beam alignment between the first vehicle and the second vehicle based on the NLOS path before the potential blockage is predicted to occur.

Abstract: Features are provided for the analysis of collections of data and automatic grouping of data having certain similarities. A collection of data regarding user interactions with item-specific content can be analyzed. The analysis can be used to identify groups of items that are of interest to groups of similar users and/or to identify groups of users with demonstrated interests in groups of similar items. Data may be analyzed in a “bottom-up” manner in which correlations within the data are discovered in an iterative manner, or in a “top-down” manner in which desired top-level groups are specified at the beginning of the process. A bottom-up process may also be distributed among multiple devices or processors to more efficiently discover groups when using large collections of data.

Abstract: Methods for assigning effective isotopic radiated power to an access point in a wireless network are provided. In one aspect, a method includes determining weights for neighboring access points in a wireless network based on channel frequency and basic service set color assignments. For a particular access point, a first path loss based on the determined weights and a second path loss based on the neighboring access points are calculated. First and second effective isotopic radiated power values are calculated based on the respective first and second path losses. The effective isotopic radiated power of the particular access point is adjusted based on the lower of the first and second calculated effective isotopic radiated power values. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.
