  • Patent number: 10491720
Abstract: In one embodiment, Ethernet Virtual Private Network (EVPN) is implemented using Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) Segment Routing (SRv6) underlay network and SRv6-enhanced Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) signaling. A particular route associated with a particular Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) Segment Routing (SRv6) Segment Identifier (SID) is advertised in a particular route advertisement message of a routing protocol (e.g., BGP). The SID includes a locator of a particular router and a function encoding representing a particular EVPN end function of the particular router, with the particular SID including a routable prefix to the particular router. The particular router receives a particular packet including the particular SID; and in response, the particular router performs the particular EVPN end function on the particular packet. In one embodiment, the particular packet includes a Segment Routing Header (SRH) including the particular SID as the currently active SID.

  • Patent number: 10491708
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for notifying context clients of changes to the current context of a computing device. In some implementations, a context client can register to be called back when the context daemon detects specified context. For example, the context client can specify a context in which the context client is interested. When the context daemon detects that the current context of the computing device corresponds to the registered context, the context daemon can notify the context client that the current context matches the context in which the context client is interested. Thus, context clients do not require the programming necessary to independently obtain context updates and detect changes in context that are relevant or of interest to the context client.

  • Patent number: 10489498
Abstract: Techniques and systems are described in which a document management system is configured to update content of document portions of digital documents. In one example, an update to the digital document is initially triggered by a document management system by detecting a triggering change applied to an initial portion of the digital document. The document management system, in response to the triggering change, then determines whether trailing changes are to be made to other document portions, such as to other document portions in the same digital document or another digital document. To do so, triggering and trailing change representations are generated and compared to determine similarity of candidate document portions with an initial document portion.

  • Patent number: 10491312
Abstract: The disclosure describes embodiments for reducing interference for wireless vehicular messages. In some embodiments, a method includes detecting a presence of an interference signal on a channel of a Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) radio which obscures payload data that is included in a V2X message received via the channel. The method includes determining a source of the interference signal present on the channel. The method includes canceling out the interference signal from the V2X message using a cancellation sequence selected based on the source to generate a modified version of the V2X message including the payload data which is substantially unobscured by the interference signal. The method includes providing the modified version of the V2X message to a vehicle component so that the vehicle component provides its functionality based on the payload data and not the interference signal.

  • Patent number: 10485901
Abstract: A chronically implanted medical device is disclosed that has an outermost layer formed from a conjugate of a polymer with lipoic acid, the conjugate having free 1,2-dithiolane groups. It is contemplated that this layer scavenges reactive oxygen species, i.e. acts as an antioxidant, and thus reduces inflammation and other adverse effects around the implant itself.

  • Publication number: 20190355359
Abstract: Modulating packetized audio signals in a voice activated data packet based computer network environment is provided. A system can receive audio signals detected by a microphone of a device. The system can parse the audio signal to identify trigger keyword and request, and generate a first action data structure. The system can identify a content item object based on the trigger keyword, and generate an output signal comprising a first portion corresponding to the first action data structure and a second portion corresponding to the content item object. The system can apply a modulation to the first or second portion of the output signal, and transmit the modulated output signal to the device.

  • Patent number: 10479053
Abstract: A coated article includes a low emissivity (low-E) coating having at least one infrared (IR) reflecting layer of a material such as silver, gold, or the like, and at least one high refractive index layer of or including titanium oxide and at least one additional metal. A doped titanium oxide layer(s) is designed and deposited in a manner so as to be amorphous or substantially amorphous (as opposed to crystalline) in the low-E coating, so as to better withstand optional heat treatment (HT) such as thermal tempering and reduce haze. The high index layer may be a transparent dielectric high index layer in preferred embodiments, which may be provided for antireflection purposes and/or color adjustment purposes, in addition to having thermal stability.

  • Patent number: 10482026
Abstract: In addition to caching I/O operations at a host, at least some data management can migrate to the host. With host side caching, data sharing or deduplication can be implemented with the cached writes before those writes are supplied to front end storage elements. When a host cache flush to distributed storage trigger is detected, the host deduplicates the cached writes. The host aggregates data based on the deduplication into a “change set file” (i.e., a file that includes the aggregation of unique data from the cached writes). The host supplies the change set file to the distributed storage system. The host then sends commands to the distributed storage system. Each of the commands identifies a part of the change set file to be used for a target of the cached writes.

  • Patent number: 10479728
Abstract: A composition and process for manufacture thereof used in hybrid inventive building materials comprising Syngenite (K2Ca(SO4)2.H2O) and Struvite-K (KMgPO4.6H2O). Starting constituents include magnesium oxide (MgO), monopotassium phosphate (MKP) and stucco (calcium sulfate hemihydrate), mixed in predetermined ratios, cause reactions to proceed through multiple phases, which reactions variously are proceeding simultaneously and in parallel. Variables, e.g., water temperature, pH, mixing times and rates, have been found to affect resultant reaction products. Preferred ratios of chemical constituents and manufacturing parameters, including predetermined weight percent and specified ratios of Struvite-K and Syngenite are provided for building products used for specified purposes. Reactions are optimized in stoichiometry and additives to reduce the combined heat of formation to non-destructive levels. Various additives help control and guide reactions.

  • Publication number: 20190348035
Abstract: The present disclosure is generally directed to the generation of voice-activated data flows in interconnected network. The voice-activated data flows can include input audio signals that include a request and are detected at a client device. The client device can transmit the input audio signal to a data processing system, where the input audio signal can be parsed and passed to the data processing system of a service provider to fulfill the request in the input audio signal. The present solution is configured to conserve network resources by reducing the number of network transmissions needed to fulfill a request.

  • Publication number: 20190344087
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed in which an external device such as a consumer mobile device (e.g., smart phone) is used as an external controller to bi-directionally communicate with an Implantable Medical Device (IMD) using a dedicated patient remote control (RC) as an intermediary device to translate communications between the two. The dedicated RC contains a graphical user interface allowing for control and monitoring of the IMD even if the mobile device is not present in the system, which is useful as a back-up should the mobile device experience problems. Use of the dedicated RC as an intermediary device broadens the utility of other computing devices to operate as an external controller for an IMD even if the computing device and IMD do not have compliant communication means.
