  • Publication number: 20240276412
Abstract: A vehicular control system includes a first electronic control unit (ECU) and a second ECU disposed at a vehicle. The first ECU transmits a first propagation delay frame to the second ECU, which, responsive to receiving the first propagation delay frame, transmits a second propagation delay frame to the first ECU. The first ECU, responsive to receiving the second propagation delay frame, determines a propagation delay based on a time interval between (i) a first point in time when the first ECU transmits the first propagation delay frame to the second ECU and (ii) a second point in time when the first ECU receives the second propagation delay frame from the second ECU. The first ECU transmits a time synchronization frame to the second ECU that includes the determined propagation delay. The second ECU adjusts synchronization of a clock based on the time synchronization frame.

  • Publication number: 20240273024
Abstract: A scalable cache coherency protocol for system including a plurality of coherent agents coupled to one or more memory controllers is described. The memory controller may implement a precise directory for cache blocks from the memory to which the memory controller is coupled. Multiple requests to a cache block may be outstanding, and snoops and completions for requests may include an expected cache state at the receiving agent, as indicated by a directory in the memory controller when the request was processed, to allow the receiving agent to detect race conditions. In an embodiment, the cache states may include a primary shared and a secondary shared state. The primary shared state may apply to a coherent agent that bears responsibility for transmitting a copy of the cache block to a requesting agent. In an embodiment, at least two types of snoops may be supported: snoop forward and snoop back.

  • Patent number: 12063049
Abstract: Digital post-processing of time-to-digital converter (TDC) output data can be used to map each TDC code to the ideal one, but this requires knowing the TDC input-output mapping. Therefore, a calibration system and method are provided for characterizing operation of a TDC to compensate for non-idealities. Input signals having a known time difference are provided to the TDC, and a mapping between the TDC output and the known time difference is stored in a mapping table. With the described method, it is possible to input an input ramp of very low slope to construct this mapping to a desired resolution during a background calibration procedure. This characterizing and mapping can be performed across a range of input signals having different known time differences. After calibration, a mapping table can be used by a mapping circuit of the TDC or by a digital post-processing function to provide a compensated TDC output.

  • Patent number: 12063259
Abstract: Systems and methods are directed to synchronizing comments between a document and a virtual meeting. The document is shared in a screen-share section of a meeting user interface. A comment widget monitors for comments made to the document. In response to detecting a first comment made to the document, the comment widget synchronizes the first comment with a chat section of the meeting user interface. The comment widget also monitors for comments made in the chat section of the meeting user interface and detects that a second comment made in the chat section is linked to the first comment. In response, the comment widget synchronizes the second comment to the document by positioning a copy of the second comment relative to the first portion of the document and the first comment in the same context. The first and second comment create a first comment thread in the chat section.

  • Patent number: 12063567
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may support communications with a user equipment (UE) that is moving at a first speed that meets or exceeds a threshold via a cell that is configured to support such communications, which may be referred to as a high speed train (HST) cell. The network entity and the UE may support cell acquisition that prioritizes camping on an HST cell over a non-HST cell. The UE and the network entity may communicate acquisition signaling associated with establishing a connection with the network entity using a first frequency associated with an HST cell and a non-HST cell. Based on an identifier indicating that the HST cell is an HST cell, the UE may prioritize the HST cell over the non-HST cell during cell acquisition and establish the connection with the network entity via the HST cell.

  • Publication number: 20240267411
Abstract: A domain processing system is enhanced with a first-pass domain filter configured for loading character strings representing a pair of domains consisting of a seed domain and a candidate domain in a computer memory, computing a similarity score and a dynamic threshold for the pair of domains, determining whether the similarity score exceeds the dynamic threshold, and iterating the loading, the computing, and the determining for each of a plurality of candidate domains paired with the seed domain. A similarity score between the seed domain and the candidate domain and a corresponding dynamic threshold for the pair are computed. If the similarity score exceeds the corresponding dynamic threshold, the candidate domain is provided to a downstream computing facility. Otherwise, it is dropped. In this way, the first-pass domain filter can significantly reduce the number of domains that otherwise would need to be processed by the downstream computing facility.

  • Patent number: 12057336
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for estimating heights of defects in a wafer. The method comprises creating an un-calibrated 3D model of a defect in a wafer, determining one or more attributes associated with the un-calibrated 3D model, transforming the un-calibrated 3D model to a calibrated 3D model, and estimating a height of the defect using the calibrated 3D model. Creating an un-calibrated 3D model corresponds to a defect present in a wafer based on a plurality of Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) images of the defect. Transforming the un-calibrated 3D model to a calibrated 3D model uses a scaling factor corresponding to the determined one or more attributes associated with the un-calibrated 3D model. A height of the defect is estimated based on the calibrated 3D model of the defect.
