  • Patent number: 11761171
Abstract: When an EMV performs an action comprising moving a tool of the EMV through soil or other material, the EMV can measure a current speed of the tool through the material and a current kinematic pressure exerted on the tool by the material. Using the measured current speed and kinematic pressure, the EMV system can use a machine learned model to determine one or more soil parameters of the material. The EMV can then make decisions based on the soil parameters, such as by selecting a tool speed for the EMV based on the determined soil parameters.

  • Patent number: 11762860
Abstract: Database systems may dynamically management concurrency levels for performing queries. A query may be received at a database system and a memory usage for the query may be predicted. A determination may be made as to whether available memory is enough to satisfy the predicted memory usage for the query. If the available memory is enough to satisfy the predicted memory usage for the query, then an increase in a concurrency level for performing queries at the database system may be made. The query may be allowed to execute concurrently with other queries according to the increased concurrency level.

  • Patent number: 11763583
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for generating and providing matching fonts by utilizing a glyph-based machine learning model. For example, the disclosed systems can generate a glyph image by arranging glyphs from a digital document according to an ordering rule. The disclosed systems can further identify target fonts as fonts that include the glyphs within the glyph image. The disclosed systems can further generate target glyph images by arranging glyphs of the target fonts according to the ordering rule. Based on the glyph image and the target glyph images, the disclosed systems can utilize a glyph-based machine learning model to generate and compare glyph image feature vectors. By comparing a glyph image feature vector with a target glyph image feature vector, the font matching system can identify one or more matching glyphs.

  • Publication number: 20230289609
Abstract: A computer system (which includes one or more computers) that generates a second autoencoder (AE) neural network (such as an ALAP-AE neural network) is described. During operation, the computer system may obtain information specifying an initial AE neural network. Then, the computer system may compute a subset of filters associated with the initial AE neural network to remove based at least in part on a L1-norm loss function and weights associated with filters in initial AE neural network. Moreover, the computer system may prune the subset of the filters from the initial AE neural network. Next, the computer system may generate the ALAP-AE neural network by retraining the initial AE neural network, where the retraining includes a student-teacher model in which the teacher includes the pruned initial AE neural network and the student includes the ALAP-AE neural network.

  • Publication number: 20230289339
Abstract: A GraphQL server stores schemas for GraphQL APIs in a schema store, the schemas defining operations, types and fields of the APIs. Field resolvers are associated with the fields of the APIs to specify which of the data source is to be used to fulfill an API query request. When an event is detected that makes changes to a schema of any of the data sources, the schema store is accessed and an old field name is automatically replaced with a new field name in both the retrieved schemas and the field resolvers mapped to the retrieved schemas. Responsive to receiving an API request, it is determined whether the request has any field names that do not match the corresponding schema, and if so, the old field name is replaced with the new field name in the request.

  • Publication number: 20230289970
Abstract: In implementations of systems for image inversion using multiple latent spaces, a computing device implements an inversion system to generate a segment map that segments an input digital image into a first image region and a second image region and assigns the first image region to a first latent space and the second image region to a second latent space that corresponds to a layer of a convolutional neural network. An inverted latent representation of the input digital image is computed using a binary mask for the second image region. The inversion system modifies the inverted latent representation of the input digital image using an edit direction vector that corresponds to a visual feature. An output digital image is generated that depicts a reconstruction of the input digital image having the visual feature based on the modified inverted latent representation of the input digital image.

  • Patent number: 11755023
Abstract: This description provides an autonomous or semi-autonomous excavation vehicle that is capable of determining a route between a start point and an end point in a site and navigating over the route. The sensors collect any or more of spatial, imaging, measurement, and location data to detect an obstacle between two locations within the site. Based on the collected data and identified obstacles, the excavation vehicle generates unobstructed routes circumventing the obstacles, obstructed routes traveling through the obstacles, and instructions for removing certain modifiable obstacles. The excavation vehicle determines and selects the shortest route of the unobstructed and obstructed route and navigates over the selected path to move within the site.
