  • Patent number: 11696184
Abstract: A device determines, from a network slice template associated with a network slice, a quality of service (QoS) profile for the network slice that includes performance metrics for corresponding QoS parameters associated with providing a service. The device monitors performance of the network slice in association with the QoS profile, and determines, based on the performance, that a performance indicator for a QoS parameter of the network slice is outside a threshold range of a performance metric. The device determines, based on the performance information and the QoS profile, a slice modification to the network slice template for the network slice, where the slice modification is configured to cause the performance indicator to be within the threshold range of the performance metric. The device causes a network slice orchestrator to update an instantiation of the network slice according to the slice modification and the network slice template.

  • Publication number: 20230205626
Abstract: Multilevel memory error management techniques can improve system performance, availability, and reliability by preventing future accesses to faulty near memory locations. According to examples described herein, multilevel memory error management techniques enable proactively offlining far memory locations mapped to a faulty near memory location before additional faults are encountered, and/or maintaining a faulty near memory location list to enable bypassing the faulty near memory location to prevent future errors.

  • Publication number: 20230206484
Abstract: The present disclosure provides system and method for object detection in a discontinuous space. The system receives at least one captured image from one or more computing devices associated with one or more users. The at least one captured image comprises one or more objects in the discontinuous space, and the one or more objects are associated with at least one attribute. The system computes a score corresponding to each of at least one attribute of the one or more objects. The system detects the one or more objects in the discontinuous space based on the computed score. Further, the system determines a similarity grade for the one or more detected objects, where the similarity grade corresponds to an accuracy of inference for the one or more detected objects. Finally, the system updates a database based on the accuracy of inference to facilitate object detection in the discontinuous space.

  • Publication number: 20230205823
Abstract: An intelligent clustering system has a dual-mode clustering engine for mass-processing and stream-processing. A tree data model is utilized to describe heterogenous data elements in an accurate and uniform way and to calculate a tree distance between each data element and a cluster representative. The clustering engine performs element clustering, through sequential or parallel stages, to cluster the data elements based at least in part on calculated tree distances and parameter values reflecting user-provided domain knowledge on a given objective. The initial clusters thus generated are fine-tuned by undergoing an iterative self-tuning process, which continues when new data is streamed from data source(s). The clustering engine incorporates stage-specific domain knowledge through stage-specific configurations. This hybrid approach combines strengths of user domain knowledge and machine learning power.

  • Publication number: 20230205772
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method, system and computer program product for optimal query scheduling for resource utilization option. In an embodiment of the disclosure, a process for optimal query scheduling includes receiving in an information retrieval data processing system at a contemporaneous time, a request for deferred query execution of a specified query to a future time after the contemporaneous time. The method additionally includes determining a frequency of change of data corresponding to a field referenced in the specified query. Then, on condition that the frequency of change is below a threshold value, an intermediate time prior to the future time but after the contemporaneous time can be identified and the specified query scheduled for execution at the intermediate time instead of the future time. But, otherwise the specified query can be scheduled at the future time as originally requested.

  • Patent number: 11687391
Abstract: Upon occurrence of multiple errors in a central processing unit (CPU) package, data indicating the errors is stored in machine check (MC) banks. A timestamp corresponding to each error is stored, the timestamp indicating a time of occurrence for each error. A machine check exception (MCE) handler is generated to address the errors based on the timestamps. The timestamps can be stored in the MC banks or in a utility box (U-box). The MCE handler can then address the errors based on order of occurrence, for example by determining that the first error in time causes the remaining error. The MCE can isolate hardware/software associated with the first error to recover from a failure. The MCE can report only the first error to the operating system (OS) or other error management software/hardware. The U-Box may also convert the timestamps into real time to support user debugging.

  • Patent number: 11686071
Abstract: In some implementations, the EMV uses a calibration to inform autonomous control over the EMV. To calibrate an EMV, the system first selects a calibration action comprising a control signal for actuating a control surface of the EMV. Then, using a calibration model comprising a machine learning model trained based on one or more previous calibration actions taken by the EMV, the system predicts a response of the control surface to the control signal of the calibration action. After the EMV executes the control signal to perform the calibration action, the EMV system monitors the actual response of the control signal and uses that to update the calibration model based on a comparison between the predicted and monitored states of the control surface.

  • Patent number: 11688213
Abstract: Methods and systems for processing telematics data are provided. In one embodiment, a method is provided that includes obtaining telematics information from a first device associated with a vehicle. The telematics information may indicate operations of the vehicle. An anomalous operation of the vehicle may then be determined based on the telematics information. The method may further include determining whether the anomalous operation of the vehicle is a vehicle collision. If the anomalous operation of the vehicle is a vehicle collision, routing information for the vehicle may be received that identifies previous locations of the vehicle. The routing information may then be compared with the telematics information to identify a location of the vehicle collision.
