  • Publication number: 20230199604
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may support communications with a user equipment (UE) that is moving at a first speed that meets or exceeds a threshold via a cell that is configured to support such communications, which may be referred to as a high speed train (HST) cell. The network entity and the UE may support cell acquisition that prioritizes camping on an HST cell over a non-HST cell. The UE and the network entity may communicate acquisition signaling associated with establishing a connection with the network entity using a first frequency associated with an HST cell and a non-HST cell. Based on an identifier indicating that the HST cell is an HST cell, the UE may prioritize the HST cell over the non-HST cell during cell acquisition and establish the connection with the network entity via the HST cell.

  • Publication number: 20230196014
Abstract: Rewriting text in the writing style of a target author is described. A stylistic rewriting system receives input text and an indication of the target author. The system trains a language model to understand the target author's writing style using a corpus of text associated with the target author. The language model may be transformer-based, and is first trained on a different corpus of text associated with a range of different authors to understand linguistic nuances of a particular language. Copies of the language model are then cascaded into an encoder-decoder framework, which is further trained using a masked language modeling objective and a noisy version of the target author corpus. After training, the encoder-decoder framework of the trained language model automatically rewrites input text in the writing style of the target author and outputs the rewritten text as stylized text.

  • Publication number: 20230196280
Abstract: An order consolidation system and method in a storage facility is disclosed. An item received at an order consolidation station by way of a robotic apparatus is transferred by the order consolidation station to another robotic apparatus by way of instructions received from a control server. The control server detects a side of the order consolidation station at which the robotic apparatus arrives, compares received data of placed items on the order consolidation station with stored data to determine a match between the received data and the stored data, and controls the transfer based on the match between the received data and the stored data and detection of the robotic apparatus at the other side of the order consolidation station. The transport of the robotic apparatus with the items to a packaging station is further controlled by the control server for packaging an order.

  • Patent number: 11681455
Abstract: A smart network interface card in an information handling system monitors a local host memory associated with a computer resource for an update to a memory page in the local host memory. After the update to the memory page, the smart network interface card copies the memory page to its memory. The smart network interface card sets a watchdog timer to detect a failure in an the information handling system that hosts the computer resource and if the failure is detected, then the smart network interface card migrates the computer resource from its to another information handling system.

  • Patent number: 11681843
Abstract: Various aspects of the disclosed technology relate to machine learning-based chain diagnosis. Faults are injected into scan chains in a circuit design. Simulations are performed on the fault-injected circuit design to determine test response patterns in response to the test patterns which are captured by the scan chains. Observed failing bit patterns are determined by comparing the unloaded test response patterns with corresponding good-machine test response patterns. Bit-reduction is performed on the observed failing bit patterns to construct training samples. Using the training samples, machine-learning models for faulty scan cell identification are trained. The bit reduction comprises pattern-based bit compression for good scan chains or cycle-based bit compression for the good scan chains. The bit reduction may further comprise bit-filtering. The bit-filtering may comprises keeping only sensitive bits on faulty scan chains for the training samples construction.

  • Patent number: 11680384
Abstract: An earth moving vehicle (EMV) autonomously performs an earth moving operation within a dig site. If the EMV determines that a state of the EMV or the dig site triggers a triggering condition associated with a pause in the autonomous behavior of the EMV, the EMV determines a risk associated with the state or triggering condition. If the risk is greater than a first threshold, the EMV continues the autonomous performance and notifies a remote operator that the triggering condition was triggered. If the risk is greater than the first threshold risk but less than a second threshold risk, the EMV is configured to operate in a default state before continuing and notifying the remote operator. If the risk is greater than the second threshold risk, the EMV notifies the remote operator of the state pauses the performance until feedback is received from the remote operator.

  • Patent number: 11683835
Abstract: Currently, spatial reuse (SR) is a feature used indiscriminately for/across all traffic classes. However, systems and methods are provided for reducing channel access latency via selective application of SR for latency-sensitive and high-priority traffic. If a radio frequency (RF) signal is detected on a channel used by an access point (AP) or a client device, a determination can be made as to whether the energy of the RF signal relative to SR energy level thresholds permits transmission on that channel used simultaneously by another, e.g., neighboring AP. If so, frames can be transmitted so long as the other neighboring AP is associated with a different basic service set (BSS) color than that of the AP, and so long as the frames to be transmitted belong to a high-priority/low-latency traffic access category.

  • Patent number: 11681918
Abstract: Mechanisms are provided to provide an improved computer tool for determining and mitigating the presence of adversarial inputs to an image classification computing model. A machine learning computer model processes input data representing a first image to generate a first classification output. A cohort of second image(s), that are visually similar to the first image, is generated based on a comparison of visual characteristics of the first image to visual characteristics of images in an image repository. A cohort-based machine learning computer model processes the cohort of second image(s) to generate a second classification output and the first classification output is compared to the second classification output to determine if the first image is an adversarial image. In response to the first image being determined to be an adversarial image, a mitigation operation by a mitigation system is initiated.
