  • Patent number: 11630851
Abstract: The embodiments set forth techniques for implementing various “prediction engines” that can be configured to provide different kinds of predictions within a mobile computing device. According to some embodiments, each prediction engine can assign itself as an “expert” on one or more “prediction categories” within the mobile computing device. When a software application issues a request for a prediction for a particular category, and two or more prediction engines respond with their respective prediction(s), a “prediction center” can be configured to receive and process the predictions prior to responding to the request. Processing the predictions can involve removing duplicate information that exists across the predictions, sorting the predictions in accordance with confidence levels advertised by the prediction engines, and the like. In this manner, the prediction center can distill multiple predictions down into an optimized prediction and provide the optimized prediction to the software application.

  • Publication number: 20230112606
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for enrolling a user device in a Unified Endpoint Management (“UEM”) system over a closed network. After an initial boot or factory reset of a user device, a user can scan a Quick Response code, or other scannable code, that is embedded with enrollment configuration data that includes configuration settings for communicating with a UEM server in the UEM system. Using the enrollment configuration data, the user device can retrieve an installation file for a management application. The user device can install the management application and give the management application access to the enrollment configuration data. The management application can disable hardcoded open network endpoints on the user device and configure the user device for UEM communications on the closed network. The user device can connect to the UEM server over the closed network and request enrollment in the UEM system.

  • Publication number: 20230113643
Abstract: The disclosure herein describes preparing and using a cross-attention model for action recognition using pre-trained encoders and novel class fine-tuning. Training video data is transformed into augmented training video segments, which are used to train an appearance encoder and an action encoder. The appearance encoder is trained to encode video segments based on spatial semantics and the action encoder is trained to encode video segments based on spatio-temporal semantics. A set of hard-mined training episodes are generated using the trained encoders. The cross-attention module is then trained for action-appearance aligned classification using the hard-mined training episodes. Then, support video segments are obtained, wherein each support video segment is associated with video classes. The cross-attention module is fine-tuned using the obtained support video segments and the associated video classes.

  • Publication number: 20230116238
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus are provided for intelligent, integrated, and interactive remote reporting. A remote natural language request for a report may be received from a user at an edge device. A first machine learning model may generate a list of existing reports based on past usage by the user. If no existing report satisfies the request, a second, enterprise-level machine learning model may map the request to relevant data sets and rank the mapped data sets along with additional related data sets based on enterprise-wide usage. An integrated reporting platform may receive selected data sets and report parameters as a JSON request, convert the request to compatible executable instructions, and generate the report. The integrated reporting platform may be a wrapper layer encompassing multiple proprietary reporting engines. Feedback from the integrated reporting platform may be applied to update the machine learning models.

  • Publication number: 20230112432
Abstract: A system and method for efficiently capturing data by sequential circuits across multiple operating conditions are described. In various implementations, an integrated circuit includes multiple signal arrival adjusters both at its I/O boundaries and across its die. The signal arrival adjuster includes two internal timing paths, each with a respective latency. The signal arrival adjuster receives an input signal, and generates an output signal from the a selected one of the first timing path and the second timing path. The signal arrival adjuster sends the output signal to a sequential circuit. The sequential circuit uses the output signal as one of an input data signal and an input clock signal. The selection between the two timing paths within the signal arrival adjuster aids satisfying the setup and hold time requirements of the sequential circuit.

  • Patent number: 11625856
Abstract: Example localization systems and methods are described. In one implementation, a method receives a camera image from a vehicle camera and cleans the camera image using a VAE-GAN (variational autoencoder combined with a generative adversarial network) algorithm. The method further receives a vector map related to an area proximate the vehicle and generates a synthetic image based on the vector map. The method then localizes the vehicle based on the cleaned camera image and the synthetic image.

  • Patent number: 11625400
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method, system and computer program product for optimal query scheduling for resource utilization option. In an embodiment of the disclosure, a process for optimal query scheduling includes receiving in an information retrieval data processing system at a contemporaneous time, a request for deferred query execution of a specified query to a future time after the contemporaneous time. The method additionally includes determining a frequency of change of data corresponding to a field referenced in the specified query. Then, on condition that the frequency of change is below a threshold value, an intermediate time prior to the future time but after the contemporaneous time can be identified and the specified query scheduled for execution at the intermediate time instead of the future time. But, otherwise the specified query can be scheduled at the future time as originally requested.
