  • Patent number: 10383730
Abstract: A method of implanting a penile prosthetic in a patient includes opening a proximal space inside of a crus penis and a distal space inside of an external portion of a penis of the patient. An implantable penile prosthetic is provided having a cylinder and a base, with the base adapted to be coupled to a reservoir and a pump and including an inflatable bladder. Inflation of the inflatable bladder of the base with liquid from the reservoir expands an outer diameter of the base to stabilize the implantable penile prosthetic within the penis of the patient.

  • Patent number: 10278822
Abstract: A penile prosthesis kit of parts includes an inflatable implant, a reservoir adapted to contain a volume of liquid, a pump, tubing and tubing connectors provided for attachment of the inflatable implant and the reservoir to the pump, and instructions for use provided for implantation and use of the pump. The pump has a rotary valve located in a first flow path entering into the pump and in a second flow path exiting from the pump. When implanted, the rotary valve is constrained to rotate in only one direction to move a portion of the volume of the liquid from the reservoir through the first flow path and through the second flow path into the inflatable implant.

  • Patent number: 9956079
Abstract: A method of inflating an implantable penile prosthetic includes providing the prosthetic with a lockout valve. The lockout valve is located in an inlet flow path between a reservoir containing liquid and a pump attached to the implantable penile prosthetic. The lockout valve has a core, an inlet flange connected to the core, a lockout flange connected to the core, an inflation channel formed through the core, a deflation pathway that is separate from the inflation channel and formed through a diameter of the core, and a one-way check valve disposed in the deflation pathway of the core. When a suction force is applied downstream from the reservoir, the core rotates, thus displacing the inlet flange and moving the liquid contained in the reservoir across the lockout valve and into the pump.
