  • Publication number: 20030071547
Abstract: A plastic or metal locator bracket for providing securing surfaces for cabinet member drawer slide mechanisms formed to fit within discreet areas of drawer supporting structures. The body portion has first and second substantially flat portions formed at right angles with each other, spacer elements or tabs and a center marker to provide quick positioning within a discretely formed space. Shaped pockets integral with the first substantially flat portion provide structure for multiple fastener receiving apertures to accommodate a plurality of drawer frame front thicknesses. The first and second substantially flat portions have interior engaging surfaces for securement to the frame.

  • Patent number: 6481812
Abstract: A drawer guide assembly for a movable structure such as a drawer in a furniture article, and more particularly to a new and improved drawer guide assembly which is concealed from view and allows for a wider and deeper drawer. The drawer guide assembly contains mirror image assemblies, each comprising a guide rail mountable to the interior of a furniture article in a generally horizontally disposed position and a pull-out rail mountable to the drawer, or other movable structure, and movable within the guide rail. Both the guide and pull-out rails are provided with one or more rotatable rollers mounted in fixed positions and upper and/or lower ledges which are in rolling contact with complementary rotatable rollers, thus enabling forward and rearward horizontal movement of the pull-out rail and carried structure on the fixed guide rail.

  • Patent number: 6470531
Abstract: A hinge for mounting a door on a furniture article frame includes a first hinge member adapted to be affixed to the furniture door and a first hinge arm segment pivoted to the first hinge member and having a first adjustment plate with an aperture and a second hinge member having a second hinge arm segment having a second adjustment plate with an aperture. Turning an adjustment screw connecting the adjustment plates to one another causes the second hinge arm segment to move relative to the first hinge arm segment in a direction perpendicular to the pivot axis and parallel to the door in a closed position thereof. A base plate adapted to be affixed to the furniture article frame by a fastening screw supports a movable plate formed on the second hinge member. Turning an eccentric mounted in the base plate causes the movable plate to be displaced on the base plate in a direction perpendicular to the pivot axis and perpendicular to the door in a closed position thereof.

  • Publication number: 20020074471
Abstract: A rotary shelf assembly having shelves mounted on a vertical post is connected to the cabinet frame by upper and lower mounting brackets interacting with the top and bottom of the cabinet frame to support the post. The assembly is adapted to be mounted in the corner of a cabinet frame. To adjust to the vertical position of the cabinet frame, a height adjustment device is telescopically received in the upper end of the vertical post and is slidably movable therein. When securement of the post and mounted shelves is desired, the slidably telescoping upper and shorter post is extended upwardly until it engages the upper mounting bracket. An elongated recess in the shorter post aligns with an opening in the lower post to receive a threaded member into a casting. The screw is tightened to engage the casting and secure the two posts together in a shelf maintaining and rotational mode. The height adjustment device enables the assembly to be quickly and efficiently mounted within the cabinet frame.

  • Patent number: 6061872
Abstract: The invention is a cabinet hinge that has a hinge arm or hinge fastened on a hinge cup; the hinge arm, that can be adjusted by means of an adjusting plate, can be connected to a fastening baseplate on the cabinet/furniture, and has a catch connection provided in order to make this connection.According to the invention the adjusting plate is a one piece, partially resilient snap-on component that on one side has hook-shaped shanks that link with the baseplate and on the other side has shanks that engage into corresponding catch nose projections of the baseplate when pressure is placed on the adjusting plate by a suitable means forces sliding motion of the adjusting plate relative to the baseplate. Then the resilient component of the adjusting plate is secured against further shifting.
