    Abstract: Disclosed is a base station comprising an antenna and a plurality of integrated transceiver modules. Each integrated transceiver module includes a radio and a decentral duplexer connected to the radio and the antenna for transmission of and reception of communication signals. The integrated transceiver module therefore modularizes the base station so that all of the components of a base station can be located on a single module (e.g., one printed circuit board (PCB)). The base station can be upgraded by inserting additional integrated transceiver modules into the base station.

In this way, emergency calls may be completed over a network having at least one malfunctioning backhaul communications link in a network backbone.

In one embodiment, the LC circuit is a first LC circuit connected in parallel with the load resistor and a second LC circuit is connected in series with the first LC circuit (and therefore connected in parallel with the load resistor). The method comprises stabilizing an active feedback to provide a variable feedback in a filter, varying the active feedback based on an input signal to the filter, and producing a desired Q-factor for the filter at a first frequency band, in response to the variable feedback. The method further comprises reconfiguring a center frequency and a bandwidth of the filter based on a channel bandwidth of the input signal to the filter to adjust the Q-factor for the filter in response to a second frequency band different than the first frequency band. By reconfiguring a center frequency and a bandwidth of a filter, the Q-factor for the filter, such as a flexible or reconfigurable filter, may be controlled across a multiplicity of frequency band signals.
