  • Patent number: 11989200
Abstract: An illustrative embodiment disclosed herein is an apparatus including a processor and a memory. In some embodiments, the memory includes programmed instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the apparatus to upload an object to a source bucket in an object store and create a lambda bucket in the object store that is symlinked to the source bucket. In some embodiments, the lambda bucket is associated with a predefined transformation. In some embodiments, the memory includes the programmed instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the apparatus to receive a request to download the object from the lambda bucket, detect that the object is in the source bucket, fetch the object from the source bucket, transform the object, by compute resources of the object store, using the predefined transformation, and download the transformed object.

  • Patent number: 11989143
Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and products utilizing a cache coherent switch on chip. The cache coherent switch on chip may utilize Compute Express Link (CXL) interconnect open standard and allow for multi-host access and the sharing of resources. The cache coherent switch on chip provides for resource sharing between components while independent of a system processor, removing the system processor as a bottleneck. Cache coherent switch on chip may further allow for cache coherency between various different components. Thus, for example, memories, accelerators, and/or other components within the disclose systems may each maintain caches, and the systems and techniques described herein allow for cache coherency between the different components of the system with minimal latency.

  • Patent number: 11991765
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. The described techniques relate to improved methods, systems, devices, or apparatuses that support a 20 MHz station (STA) parked on a secondary channel. Without the described techniques, mechanisms to support secondary channel operation may be unable to receive management frames or broadcast traffic from an access point (AP), which may cause the STA to lose synchronization with the AP, miss a channel change or other critical announcement from the AP, etc. Considerations for providing such information to STAs parked on a secondary channel are discussed. In some examples, an AP may restrict resource unit allocation to the secondary channel on which the STA is parked. In some cases, a trigger-based random access mechanism may utilize aspects of the present disclosure to limit access to certain resource units to STAs on a given secondary channel.

  • Patent number: 11989582
Abstract: Apparatus and method for performing low-latency multi-job submission via a single job descriptor is described herein. An apparatus embodiment includes a plurality of descriptor queues to stores job descriptors describing work to be performed and enqueue circuitry to receive a first job descriptor which includes a first field to store a Single Instruction Multiple Data (SIMD) width. If the SIMD width indicates that the first job descriptor is an SIMD job descriptor and open slots are available in the descriptor queues to store new job descriptors, then the enqueue circuitry is to generate a plurality of job descriptors based on fields of the first job descriptor and to store them in the open slots of the descriptor queues. The generated job descriptors are processed by processing pipelines to perform the work described. At least some of the generated job descriptors are processed concurrently or in parallel by different processing pipelines.

The camera is configured to capture an image of an area when the drone is in the air. The distance measurer is configured to measure a distance between the drone and a particular point in the captured image. The directed sound beam generator is configured to emit a sound beam that is directed to a particular direction. The drone further includes a processor configured to analyze the detected noise to determine a frequency spectrum of the detected noise. The processor is further configured to analyze the captured image to identify a target, and cause the directed sound beam generator to emit a sound beam to actively cancel at least a portion of the noise directed to the target.

  • Patent number: 11989242
Abstract: This disclosure generally covers systems and methods that create sequential segments from analytics data to enable investigation of events that occurred before or after a certain sequence of events—that is, pre-sequence or post-sequence events. In particular, certain embodiments of the disclosed systems and methods receive a segment query of certain analytics data to identify events that occurred before or after a defined sequence of events within a network and—in response to the segment query—provide a query result that identifies pre-sequence events or post-sequence events. By providing such query results, the disclosed systems and methods enable users to examine correlations between a sequence of events and any pre-sequence or post-sequence events, including any data associated with those events at a granular level.

  • Patent number: 11989357
Abstract: Systems and methods are described in which a light beam generated by a handheld device is used to point toward a selected object or location within a printed page containing visual content, for example displayed in a book or magazine. The object(s) and/or location being pointed at may be determined using a device camera pointed in the same direction as the beam coupled with computer vision methods to determine locations of camera-acquired images within a database of page-content templates. The database may include interactive sequences and/or scenarios associated with page objects and locations. Such interactive sequences may augment the visual content of a printed book to include audible elements, additional visual components, and/or haptic stimulation enacted by the handheld device. Systems and methods may provide simple and intuitive methods for human-machine interactions that may be particularly well-suited for children and other learners.
