Abstract: Introduced here is a computer-aided diagnostic system that is able to surface diagnostic insights through analysis of data related to claims submitted to insurers for reimbursement purposes. At a high level, the system enables diagnoses that should be associated with individual patients to be more reliably detected, lessening the likelihood of negative diagnoses being false negatives. The system is distinguishable from conventional diagnostic support systems in that the analysis is retrospective, using claims-related datasets. Note that, in some embodiments, the system may examiner, consider, or otherwise incorporate clinical data, though its analysis is primarily focused on claims datasets. Through the retrospective lens, patterns of diagnoses, treatments, and consultations can be surfaced by the system. These patterns can be helpful in suggesting diseases that are not readily apparent in clinical data that is available at the time of treatment.

Abstract: A magnetic head assembly is provided which has top and bottom zones for processing a magnetic tape alternately in opposite directions. Each zone contains a top write element and read element pair and a bottom write element and read element pair, the write element of each pair being located on a first gap line and the read element of each pair being located on a second gap line. Located between the read elements on the second gap line are a plurality of servo elements. The pitch of the servo elements is a multiple of the track pitch of the magnetic tape and the pitch of the write elements is a multiple of the pitch of the servo elements. The servo elements are totally dedicated to servoing on pre-recorded servo tracks on the magnetic tape. A servo element on the first gap line is on a common servo track with one of the servo elements on the second gap line so as to provide a pair of servos on the same servo track.

Abstract: A support stand for use with an above ground pool which includes a pair of collapsible, spaced, support standards and a platform spanning the support standards and supported by an arm pivotally connected to each of the two support standards, the arms being braced by a support system of pivotally interconnected brace members; and the standard may include a seat above the platform and a tray below the platform, the latter being to support articles. For shipment and storage, the stand is adapted to collapse into a compact unit.

Abstract: A process and apparatus for continuously polymerizing styrene to a low residual monomer content in a series flow reactor, the reactor containing internal stationary devices to laterally mix the styrene as it proceeds within the reactor.
