  • Patent number: 11968374
Abstract: Provided are a method and device for video coding, video decoding and storage medium. The video coding method includes: classifying video frames into independent frames and dependent frames, which comprise a first type of the dependent frames; generating region wise packing (RWP) coding configuration of each of the independent frames by coding parameters of the respective one of the independent frames, wherein the RWP coding configuration of the independent frames comprises the parameters to be unpacked to restore the video; and for each of the first type of the dependent frames, generating RWP coding configuration of the dependent frame by coding parameters of the dependent frame based on difference and dependency between the parameters of the dependent frame and the parameters of an independent frame used as a reference for the coding of the dependent frame.

  • Patent number: 11927595
Abstract: Disclosed is the invention to conduct immuno-adsorption of free 25(OH) vitamin D from blood or blood components, notably serum or plasma, after which the absorbed material is measured. A fluoro-alkyl surfactant is used to enhance the solubility of Vitamin D and allow the measurement of free Vitamin D2. The invention thus employs a binding protein to absorb the free 25(OH) vitamin D. Thereafter the binding protein comprising the 25-OH vitamin D is subjected to a competitive binding assay with a labeled vitamin D compound, preferably radiolabeled, fluorescent labeled, luminescent labeled, biotin labeled, gold labeled or enzyme labeled. Alternatively the immunocaptured 25-OH vitamin D can be quantitated by mass spectrometry.

  • Publication number: 20240074361
Abstract: A method is provided to reduce the surface temperature at high latitudes beneath mixed-phase low-level clouds. The clouds are seeded by ice crystals from dry ice pellets or from water droplets sprayed by effervescent nozzles or by injection of silver iodide. The ice crystals convert supercooled liquid water in the clouds into ice crystals by the Wegener-Bergeron-Findeisen process. Ice-only clouds are more transmissive to long wavelength radiation than mixed-phase clouds, thereby allowing more surface long wavelength radiation to escape into space or into higher, colder regions of the atmosphere.

  • Publication number: 20240065187
Abstract: An irrigation system having a pipeline supported by one or more towers includes an improved truss connection system having a means for readily adjusting a crown height of the pipeline. A pair of cooperating members define a joint which selectively couples headed ends of adjacent truss rods together to form a truss rail of a truss system that supports the pipeline. A single fastener may fasten the cooperating members, a strut, and a cross-member together at the joint. A length of the truss rail may be decreased by holding the truss rods closer together. In an aspect, the headed ends of the adjacent truss rods are held closer together by inserting a shim in one of the joints. Decreasing the length of the truss rail increases the deflection of the pipeline and raises the crown height.

  • Patent number: 11847603
Abstract: Techniques for a geofence generation feature are described herein. Geospatial vector data for a geographical area and seed points for delivery locations within the geographical area may be obtained. A plurality of polygons that represent the geographical area may be determined based on an algorithm that uses the seed points and the geospatial vector data. A boundary point for each polygon may be determined based on coordinates for the plurality of polygons where each boundary point corresponds to a single seed point. A geofence of a first size may be generated, for each polygon, based on the coordinates for the polygons, the seed point, and the boundary point. Historical scans of GPS data may be obtained from user devices during historical visits to the geographical area. The geofence may be modified to a second size or a different shape based on the historical scans of the GPS data.

  • Publication number: 20230401754
Abstract: There is provided methods and apparatus of encoding/decoding a point cloud representing a physical object. Points are captured by a spinning sensors head and are represented by sensor indices associated with sensors that captured the points, azimuthal angles representing capture angles of said sensors, and radius values of spherical coordinates of the point. Points are ordered based order indices obtained from the azimuthal angles and the sensor indices. Order index differences are encoded. An order index difference represents a difference between order indices associated with two consecutive ordered points. Optionally, the method encodes radius values, residual azimuthal angles associated with ordered points and residuals of three-dimensional cartesian coordinates of ordered points based on their three-dimensional cartesian coordinates, decoded azimuthal angles based on azimuthal angles, decoded radius values and sensor indices.
