  • Patent number: 5065668
Abstract: An apparatus for use with a multi-station workspacae including a predetermined number of core walls which define an enclosed core. The core walls include an inlet at or below a predetermined height. The apparatus includes a platform positioned in the core at a location above the predetermined height substantially separating the core into a lower air intake chamber and an upper air discharge chamber. The platform further includes a filter in the lower chamber and a blowers drawing air from the intake chamber through the filter to the upper chamber. Finally, a core lid is positioned at the top of the core and includes air discharge vents. The discharge vents include a top grid for discharging air in a vertically upward direction and side vents proximate each of the core walls for discharging air in a substantially horizontal direction out from each of the core walls.

  • Patent number: 4096377
Abstract: A resettable mechanical counter having a plurality of number wheels and transfer pinions is mounted in a molded plastic housing in which are integrally formed fixed bosses that index the transfer pinions when the number wheels are reset. The transfer pinions are axially located by means of slots formed in the housing and the number wheels are axially located relative to the reset lever mechanism which itself is axially located relative to the housing to thus position the transfer pinions relative to the number wheels.

  • Patent number: 4017167
Abstract: In the present cam-driven intermittent movement for motion picture machines the pull-down action is shared by a plurality of cams mounted on a common shaft and operating in tandem, thereby reducing the noise and vibration and/or permitting faster pulldown. One cam drives a claw arm in its swinging movement about a pivot, while the other cam drives a carrier arm which is pivoted at one end on the machine frame and carries at its other end the claw arm pivot. Meshing action of the claw may be controlled by cam action applied to either arm. Such action may be derived from the same cam as the pull-down action, or may employ an auxiliary meshing cam.

  • Patent number: 3997251
Abstract: The disclosed structure facilitates threading the film by eliminating both the intermittent movement and the film metering sprocket from the film chamber. Noise is reduced by driving the intermittent movement with a single cam, and faster faster pulldown is obtaind by combining the single cam movement with a re-entrant claw, which also facilitates positioning the movement in a separate sealed compartment. Drive mechanism for a film sprocket in the throat of the magazine includes improved positive clutch structure. Registration pins are driven by an improved linkage which facilitates film threading.
