  • Publication number: 20170068539
Abstract: Embodiments include a micro BTB, which can predict up to two branches per cycle, every cycle, with zero bubble insertion on either a taken or not taken prediction, thereby significantly improving performance and reducing power consumption of a microprocessor. A front end of a microprocessor can include a main front end logic section having a main BTB, a micro BTB to produce prediction information, and a decoupling queue. The micro BTB can include a graph having multiple entries, and a CAM having multiple items. Each of the entries of the graph can include a link pointer to a next branch in a taken direction, and a link pointer to a next branch in a not-taken direction. The micro BTB can insert a hot branch into the graph as a new seed.

  • Publication number: 20170012851
Abstract: A microburst monitoring system includes a port and a memory system with an egress queue and a shadow queue that are associated with the port. A networking engine is coupled to the port and the memory system and configured to receive and process packets to provide egress frames for forwarding through the port. The networking engine then stores the egress frames in the egress queue, and stores information about each of the egress frames in the shadow queue. When the networking device determines that the storage of the egress frames has caused the egress queue to reach a threshold, the networking device causes the information about each of the egress frames in the egress queue to be captured, and that captured information may be analyzed to determine a source device that is generating at least some of the packets to be throttled.

  • Patent number: 9534328
Abstract: A laundry machine configured to supply a first amount of water to the wash tub wherein a wash plate can be oscillated such that clothes items directly above and in contact with the impeller are frictionally dragged in a oscillatory manner with the wash chamber while continuing to oscillate said wash plate, an additional supply of water is added to said wash tub such that as cloth items lost frictional engagement with the wash plate, the cloth items continue to move along an inverse toroidal rollover path at higher water levels.

  • Publication number: 20160166139
Abstract: An optical coupling efficiency detection assembly includes a first housing accommodating a beam splitter and a fiber port, a second housing accommodating a ferrule enclosing a monitoring fiber, and an attachment block attaching the first housing to the second housing to establish a parfocal arrangement among the beam splitter, the fiber port, and the ferrule. Further, an assembly method for the optical coupling efficiency detection assembly is disclosed. The assembly method may include providing a beam splitter and a fiber port in a first housing, providing a ferrule enclosing a monitoring fiber in a second housing, and attaching the second housing to the first housing via an attachment block to establish a parfocal arrangement among the beam splitter, the fiber port, and the ferrule.

  • Publication number: 20140175912
Abstract: A BLDC motor for driving a cross flow fan in an air-conditioning application has an external rotor and an internal stator. The stator is a salient pole stator with insulated pole teeth and conductor coils. The inner diameter of the stator supports a single bearing. An electronic PCBA for control of the BLDC motor is optionally attached to the stator, all of which is encapsulated in a thermoset resin. The rotor comprises permanent magnet component(s) and a rotor frame. The rotor frame includes a stub axle that engages with the bearing element and features to provide torsional or rotational compliance between the rotor magnets and the fan. A level of compliance is provided between the bearing element and the stator to allow for angular misalignment between the rotational axis of the fan and the stator.
