  • Patent number: 6959634
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for die-cutting a stack of sheet-like materials, particularly labels, whereby the stack is pressed into the die-cutter blade by a relative movement of a punching ram and a hollow cylindrical die-cutter blade. For a device such as this, it is proposed that the die-cutter blade 18 is adjustably held in a frame 16, and the frame 16 is accommodated by a receiving apparatus 13 which is mounted in a punch platen 12 and is adjustable relative to it, whereby the frame 16 can be slid in a plane parallel to the punch platen 12, in particular is adjustable in the direction of two major axes that are essentially arranged perpendicular to one another, and can also be tilted out of the plane. Such a device allows for precise orientation of the die-cutter blade relative to the stack to be punched.

  • Patent number: 6880443
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for die cutting a stack consisting of sheet-type materials, in particular labels. According to said method, a movement of a stack to be cut in relation to a hollow cylindrical be pushed into said die-cutter blade. This type of device is characterized in that the die-cutter blade (18) is adjustably mounted in a frame (16), which can be inserted in a holding device (13) perpendicularly to the relative displacement direction (K) of the stacks to be cut (7) and die-cutter blades (18), and can be fixed in a central position. The holding device (13) is mounted in a die-cutter head plate (12), in such a way that it can be adjusted in relation to the latter. A die-cutter device of this type has an extremely compact construction, as a result of the positioning and mounting of the die-cutter blade in the direction of the relative movement of the stack to be cut and the die-cutter blade.

  • Publication number: 20040255744
Abstract: A cutting knife is proposed for the cutting of stacked, sheet-like material. The cutting knife has a wedge shape with one cutting surface and one repelling surface, arranged at the wedge angle to each other, and whose cutting line forms the cutting edge of the knife. According to the invention, the cutting knife is provided with outlet openings for blown air in the region of the repelling surface. In the method for fabrication of the cutting knife, channels are incorporated in the knife holder prior to connecting the knife holder and the hard metal blade of the knife, and due to the arrangement of these parts, the blown air passages are formed in the cutting knife upon connection of knife holder and hard metal blade, emerging into the outlet openings.

  • Patent number: 6755106
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for die-cutting a stack of sheet-like materials, particularly labels, whereby the stack is pressed into the die-cutter blade by a relative movement of a punching ram and a hollow cylindrical die-cutter blade. For such a device, it is proposed that the stack (8) to be punched be positioned between a limiting element (88) and a moveable slide-in unit 21 is positioned against a stop (89), and the limiting element (88) and the stop (89) are moveable. This type of construction of the die-cutting device ensures an optimal positioning of the stack in area of the pinching ram, independent of varying stack sizes.

  • Patent number: 6143331
Abstract: The invention concerns a process for preparing a pharmaceutical composition of thymus factors which displays immunomodulating and anti-inflammatory properties and is stable during storage. The process comprises the extraction of a homogenized thymus tissue and subsequent repeated ultrafiltration via a filter membrane having an exclusion volume of 30 kD. The resultant first ultrafiltrate is then subjected to a second ultrafiltration process on a membrane having an exclusion volume of 3 kD, the retentate being used. A composition prepared in this way, in contrast to the first ultrafiltrate obtained on leukocyte cultures stimulated by phytohaemagglutinin, displays a great increase in the production of anti-inflammatory IL-10 and a reduction in the formation of inflammation-promoting IL-2 and IFN-gamma.

Abstract: According to certain embodiments, the invention relates to a method of producing antibodies employing an immunoconjugate produced by conjugating at least one membrane-anchoring compound with at least one partial sequence of a viral, bacterial, or protoral protein. The immunoconjugate has the advantage that it can be stored for a very long time even without cooling. According to certain embodiments, the invention relates to an immunoconjugate for the specific induction of cytotoxic T-lymphocytes which comprises a conjugate from at least one membrane anchor compound and a protein, containing at least one killer T-cell epitope, of a virus, a bacterium, a parasite or a tumor antigen, or at least one partial sequence containing at least one killer T-cell epitope of a viral, bacterial or parasite protein or of a tumor antigen.
