  • Publication number: 20210294997
Abstract: In an example, a method includes receiving, at a processor, a digital version of an image combined with a machine readable graphic code. For a predefined color, a distance in color space between the predefined color and each pixel of the combined image and graphic code may be determined. At least one pixel of the combined image and graphic code may be selectively replaced, wherein the selection is based on the magnitude of the determined distance in color space, such that a first pixel with a smaller determined distance is replaced with a pixel having the predefined color and a second pixel having a larger determined distance is not replaced.

  • Publication number: 20210263087
Abstract: In an example, monitoring circuitry includes a first and a second coupling to electrically connect the monitoring circuitry to a monitored circuit having a resistance. The resistance of the monitored circuit may be indicative of a status, and the monitored circuit may be connected in series between the first and second coupling. The first coupling comprises a plurality of galvanically separated connection elements which are to form an electrical connection with a common connection element of the monitored circuit. The monitoring circuitry further comprises a monitoring apparatus to determine the resistance of the monitored circuit via the first coupling and the second coupling. • Publication number: 20210232881
Abstract: A method comprises providing to a processor or generating by the processor, an image, and a machine readable graphic code comprising a plurality of light pixels and a plurality of dark pixels. The processor determines whether the image and machine readable code are the same size if they are not the same size, scales or crops the image or the machine readable code such that they are the same size. The processor associates each graphic code pixel with a corresponding image pixel, each pixel having a lightness value. The processor determines for each image pixel, based on a comparison between a lightness of the image pixel and a lightness of a corresponding graphic code pixel, whether to adjust the lightness of the image pixel based on one of a low threshold lightness value and a high threshold lightness value. The lightness value is adjusted for each pixel of the image which is to be adjusted to a modified lightness value, such that a combination of the image and the graphic code is produced.

  • Patent number: 10588221
Abstract: A method for forming on a substrate (108; 214) a pattern of a material, the method comprising: providing (S100) a material layer (104); providing (S104, S106) an adhesive layer (106), wherein at least one of the material layer (104) or the adhesive layer (106) comprises a pattern corresponding to the pattern to be formed on the substrate (108; 214); and transferring (S108) the material to the substrate (108; 214) with the adhesive fixing the material to a surface (110; 216) of the substrate (108; 214). This solves the problem of forming on a substrate a pattern of a material that, in general, cannot be applied to the substrate directly due to the fact that the material cannot be printed and/or has no or reduced adherence properties with respect to the substrate.
