  • Patent number: 10467533
Abstract: System and method for predicting enterprise system response time is disclosed. System pre-processes causal variables of historical output time series data to select subset of causal variables by applying regression techniques to obtain significant causal variables. Historical output time series data shows response time of enterprise system. System derives dummy variables from historical output time series data using threshold based method. Dummy variables are specific to peak detection and trough detection in historic output time series data. System trains predictive model using historical output time series data, significant causal variables, and dummy variables to generate trained predictive model and predictive model designed using machine learning technique selected based on forecast methodology used for forecasting input time series data.

  • Patent number: 10332128
Abstract: A method and apparatus for performing analysis on data collected at a point of sale is disclosed. The data from the point of sale is collected using voice recognition technique implemented on a mobile communication device. In order to enable this, a limited vocabulary word recognition technique is implemented using a set of libraries storing speech utterances in a memory storage unit present of the mobile communication device. Dynamic updating of module parameters associated with the stored speech utterances is enabled by a speech refinement unit of the mobile communication device. The device further enables local as well as regional data collation and analysis.

  • Patent number: 10268695
Abstract: In one example an updated snapshot delta value is computed upon occurrence of a new transaction. The new transaction is a data modification operation performed on data blocks of the storage device. Further, the delta value indicates at least one of volume of data modified since creation of a reference snapshot and number of transactions performed since the creation. Subsequently, the updated snapshot delta value is compared with a corresponding threshold value. The threshold value is at least one of a predetermined volume of data modified and a predetermined number of transactions. A snapshot action is subsequently performed based on the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20190019279
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to image processing, and more particularly to generate a high resolution image from multiple low resolution images. In an embodiment, the system collects a plurality of low resolution images as input, processes the collected images, and generates a high resolution image as output. During this process, the system pre-processes the collected low resolution images, and during this process, at least one characteristic of each of the low resolution image is changed with respect to a reference image. After the pre-processing stage, the images are then enhanced based on a plurality of final enhancement factors that are dynamically determined. Further, the enhanced images are fused to generate the high resolution image.

  • Publication number: 20180268247
Abstract: A system and method for identifying real time change in a scene of an unknown environment using an unmanned vehicle. In the context of unmanned vehicle navigation, it is critical to calculate the saliency map in real time and employ them in scene understanding. This will reduce the search space and ensure that the process is quicker. A domain specific ontology is created and a saliency model is developed. The saliency model detects key domain specific regions of interest in two consecutive images. The regions of interest is used for registration and change detection. The system is detecting the change by using visual saliency as an abstract feature that is developed in the environment. Probability of change is derived using the salient maps of the two images.

  • Publication number: 20180188967
Abstract: In one example, primary data storage volume to store primary data blocks, and snapshot data storage volume to store snapshot data with snapshot data blocks representing copy-on-write (COW) data blocks of the primary data blocks, and with snapshot pointers to reference the primary data blocks representing non-COW data blocks of the primary data blocks of the primary data storage volume. A mapping table with primary volume mapping pointers to reference the primary data blocks, and snapshot volume mapping pointers to reference the snapshot data blocks. In response to a restore operation, perform a swap function that includes: updating the mapping table to have the primary volume mapping pointers to reference corresponding COW data blocks of the snapshot data storage volume, updating the mapping table to have the snapshot volume mapping pointers to reference corresponding primary data blocks of the primary data storage volume.

  • Patent number: 9734588
Abstract: A method and system is provided for the compression of a video captured from a static camera. A background image and an original image is captured from the static camera. A foreground object is extracted by taking the difference between the transformed original image and the transformed background image. The foreground object is represented as a sparse vector using wavelets. The method revolves around the compressive sensing framework by ingeniously using the complex field BCH codes and the syndrome as measurements to achieve robust background subtraction using reduced number of measurements. The reconstruction is carried out by a Complex-field BCH decoder coupled with block based implementation. According to another embodiment, an adaptive techniques has also been proposed for acquiring the measurements required for recovering the images.
