  • Patent number: 11054997
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods related to multiple artificial neural networks (ANNs) in memory. Such ANNs can be implemented within a memory system (including a number of memory devices) at different granularities. For example, multiple ANNs can be implemented within a single memory device and/or a single ANN can be implemented over multiple memory devices (such that multiple memory devices are configured as a single ANN). The memory system having multiple ANNs can operate each ANN independently from each other such that multiple ANN operations can be concurrently performed.

  • Patent number: 11054404
Abstract: A system including an active ventilation device and a system controller. The active ventilation device is installed in an underground vault and generates an exhaust flow from the vault having an exhaust rate. The system controller is configured to determine that a reading received from a selected gas sensor indicates that a manhole event is occurring, and instruct the active ventilation device to change the exhaust rate when the reading indicates that the manhole event is occurring. The system controller is configured to receive at least one sensor reading after the exhaust rate has been changed, determine whether the selected gas sensor is exhibiting drift based at least in part on the sensor reading(s), and perform an action when the system controller determines the selected gas sensor is not exhibiting drift. The action includes notifying a user and/or instructing the active ventilation device to alter the exhaust rate.

  • Patent number: 11055925
Abstract: An extended reality (XR) system includes an extended reality application executing on a processor within the XR system. The XR system receives, via a client device, a selection of an extended reality (XR) object located within an XR environment. The XR system receives, via the client device, a request to move the selected XR object within the XR environment. The XR system calculates a first distance between a first feature of the XR object and a first plane associated with a first physical object within the XR environment. The XR system determines that the first distance is within a particular distance. In response to determining that the first distance is within the particular distance, the XR system positions the first feature within the XR environment such that the first feature is coplanar with the first plane.

  • Publication number: 20210198954
Abstract: A deployment tool that can be used on land, jack-up and floating drilling rigs. The tools is installed around a drillpipe tool joint making it independent of the drill string load path as well as independent of the drill pipe thread and drill pipe size. It is designed for the largest commonly used drillpipe size, so has a single outer dimeter configuration that can be adapted from the largest drillpipe to the smallest in use with simple mechanical adapters. Thus, one main tool and a set of adapters is all that is required. The tool may be used in the deployment of RCDs, for example in the landing of an RCD bearing assembly on an RCD housing, or in the deployment of tubing hangers, lining hangers, casing hangers or other or any other temporary completion tool.

  • Publication number: 20210201852
Abstract: A system includes a display monitor compatible with a video specification having a reference EOTF while exhibiting an actual EOTF that deviates from the reference EOFT. The system further includes a video source subsystem operable to determine an approximated EOTF representative of the actual EOTF based on user input received from a display of at least one test pattern to the user via the display monitor. The at least one test pattern is intended to elicit input from the user based on a visual inspection of the at least one test pattern by the user. The video source subsystem further is to convert color values of each video image of a stream of images to corresponding non-linear codewords based on the approximated EOTF, and transmit the codewords to the display monitor for display as display images representative of the video images.

  • Patent number: 11046881
Abstract: Mapping propped fractures in a well can be performed using a mixture including a proppant and an encapsulated salt. The proppant can be positioned in a fracture in the well for propping open the fracture to form a propped fracture. The encapsulated salt can be positioned in the propped fracture proximate to the proppant and include a salt and a non-permeable coating. The salt can be dissolved in response to fracture closure, encapsulant degradation, or encapsulant dissolution to form an electrically conductive solution usable for mapping the propped fracture. The non-permeable coating can prevent a fluid from contacting the salt during pumping and placement operations.

  • Patent number: 11048760
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for placing content in and applying layers to an extended reality environment. An extended reality (XR) system determines an identifier that is associated with an object viewable within an extended reality environment. The XR system determines a plurality of data structures associated with the identifier, each data structure including a workspace and a dashboard. The XR system generates, using the plurality of data structures, a plurality of extended reality objects for display in the extended reality environment, each extended reality object including a dashboard from the plurality of data structures, where, in the extended reality environment, a first dashboard is visible. The XR system receives an input associated with the extended reality environment. The XR system causes, in response to the input, the second dashboard to be visible.

  • Patent number: 11045634
Abstract: A hemostasis valve body provides strong sealing around a medical device during insertion of the medical device into a blood vessel, low forces for tearing, and stability during insertion of the medical devices as well as during peel away. The valve body comprises a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, an edge, helical slits, and a pair of longitudinal cuts. The helical slits are positioned at a center of the valve body and traverse the first surface to the second surface. The helical slits provide a seal around the medical device. Each respective longitudinal cut extends from the first surface partially through the valve body to a depth short of the second surface for at least part of a length of the respective longitudinal cut. The longitudinal cuts facilitate a separation of the valve body into two parts during a peel away action.

  • Publication number: 20210187425
Abstract: An air filter device including an air filter unit and an expansion unit. The air filter unit includes a filter media assembly maintained by an outer frame assembly. The outer frame assembly defines exterior length, width and depth dimensions of the air filter device in an initial state. The expansion unit provides one or more of an expanded length, width or depth in an expanded state of the air filter device. Portions or an entirety of the expansion unit can provided apart from the air filter unit in a deliver condition of the air filter device, or can be assembled to the air filter unit prior to delivery to a user. The air filter devices of the present disclosure are useful with a wide variety of differently size air handling devices, able to readily seal with an air handling device compartment via the expansion unit.
