  • Publication number: 20080223183
Abstract: This Ergonomically Improved Universal Valve Key Tool is used to open and close gate valves and ball valves within water and gas distribution systems. The valve key tool may be any length, made of strong material such as steel pipe. The valve key tool is manually operated, has no gas powered motor, but, enables the user to quickly and efficiently open and close valves. One hand stays stationary on the valve key stem while the other hand spins the handle around the stationary hand. There is an additional lever handle lower on the stem which allows initial leverage in order to get the valve moving. The moving arm of the user holds onto a spinning grip, thereby allowing ease of use and speed. The key end of the tool is formed such that mud and debris surrounding the valve will be displaced through vents at the top of the key.

  • Patent number: 7329122
Abstract: An apparatus and method for patients requiring repositioning of misaligned teeth who typically undergo orthodontic treatment to move the teeth into corrected positions. The orthodontic methods typically require lengthy procedures involving the application of light forces to the teeth to effect movement as accomplished by braces or other appliances. The apparatus and method includes the administration of a needle corticotomy to select regions that have been identified as absent any landmarks to avoid. The method is accomplished without the use of freeze-dried and bovine bone and without a mucoperiosteal flap procedure, resulting in low medical risk and providing a simplified and less time consuming procedure as compared to the prior art, and furthermore wherein the method effects a significant reduction in the time required to complete an orthodontic case while also significantly reducing the discomfort and recovery time for the patient.

  • Patent number: RE39360
Abstract: A system for automatically encrypting and decrypting data packet sent from a source host to a destination host across a public internetwork. A tunnelling bridge is positioned at each network, and intercepts all packets transmitted to or from its associated network. The tunnelling bridge includes tables indicated pairs of hosts or pairs of networks between which packets should be encrypted. When a packet is transmitted from a first host, the tunnelling bridge of that host's network intercepts the packet, and determines from its header information whether packets from that host that are directed to the specified destination host should be encrypted; or, alternatively, whether packets from the source host's network that are directed to the destination host's network should be encrypted.
